Esipenko quickly equalises against Guseinov, however this has been only the introduction to long game with qual chances for both sides in the rook endgame.

Rapid chess and blitz chess tournaments
Blitz chess (also known as speed or fast chess) is a type of chess in which each player is given less time to consider their moves than normal tournament time controls allow. Openings, tactics and strategy are same.
By far the most commonly played third move for Black is the Morphy Defence, 3...a6, which "puts the question" to the white bishop. The main point of 3...a6 is that after the common retreat 4.Ba4, Black will have the possibility of breaking a future pin on his queen knight by playing ...b5. White must take some care not to fall into the Noah's Ark Trap, in which Black traps White's king bishop on the b3-square with a ...a6, ...b5, and ...c4 pawn advance on the queenside. Ercole del Rio, in his 1750 treatise Sopra il giuoco degli Scacchi, Osservazioni pratiche dell'anonimo Modenese (On the game of Chess, practical Observations by an anonymous Modenese), was the first author to mention 3...a6. The move became popular after it was played by Paul Morphy, however, and it is named for him. Steinitz did not approve of the move; in 1889, he wrote, "on principle this ought to be disadvantageous as it drives the bishop where it wants to go". Steinitz's opinion did not prevail, however; today, 3...a6 is played in over 65 percent of all games beginning with the Ruy Lopez.

Is this young man going to a regular school or is he a full-time player at this level? I also wonder if the chess pieces are cleaned any time? They put their fingers in / around the mouth, must be a lot of bacteria.

Guseinov recklessly exchanged pieces and in R against R ending - he was lost due black passed pawn. Instead of ..Kc6, Esipenko should have played ...Rd8. White King cannot jeopardize black pawns a5-b6, since once white king captures Pawn b6, the other goes to a1. Also - white cannot build a wall against black king who can calmly travel on king flank to collect white pawns. After ...Kc6 it was draw. Ok, now the truth: I really don't know that what I just wrote is correct. I was under impression that black passed pawn is decisive in that moment of the game. I was also under impression that after ...Rh5 white had an edge and that next move Ne2 was weak. My Third World engine is too clumsy to check that. So I am expressing only my impressions now...

Presing Izdavaštvo White advances his king to b5 and his pawn to c4 and only then he taking on b6. The black b pawn and white c pawn are both promoted giving an endgame with queens which is difficult to evaluate in such an open position with play on increments. Understandably, Esipenko rejected this possibility.
