Rapidmon vs Fenriloogamon - BT-16 Matchplay Commentary

We are back with some more BT-16 Matchplay for you all. These matches were filmed at Sully's Abode and features a good variety of decks as the crew is all preparing to take on Peoria Regionals. Today's feature puts Stack playing his Rapidmon build going up against Will trying out Fenriloogamon!

EoT effects must resolve when triggered 3:20. They still happen even when memory is pushed back to 0

That's true. All end of turn effects are queued, and after all of them are resolved, the game checks the current state again and notices that the turn player is at zero memory and is capable of continuing his turn.

[End of Turn] effects all proc at that timing. Even if an effect wins back turn, the rest are still pending and then must be resolved Good on Will for getting his sequencing right 👍

Shouldn't rapidmons -5000 kill loogarmon when it attacked ( since it then became suspended) and started its evolution chain into fenri?

15:50 question. Fenri whit alliance gains dp to the end of attack or not? To survive heavens?

19:13 i dont believe the swing would be 18k. It should be 10k with alliance as alliance adds the dp of the digimon targeted by alliance, rapid X would give -4k to both black gato and Fenri so it would be -4k on both digimon added together making it only 10k before the blast digivolve.

14:01 i was actually swinging at the rapid when stack blast evos into megagargo the 1st time in game 2. He didn't block it. He actually thought i was swinging at security which is why he blast evo'd

All End of Turn effects proc regardless if memory goes back to turn player or not. Fenrir player did it the right way

Rapid X player should have paid 2 memory to digivolve terrier x into bt 8 rapidmon after tapping Willis. Turn should have passed.

The way they've been butchering game mechanics is enough that I'm quitting after this set. Options have become trap cards, hand traps exist, and the memory system has become less and less meaningful.
