I am glad these are easier to take apart than the first run! I hope for a second run of SP units the cab side windows will be changed. I love the improvised pointer… if you have much Rapido stuff you have a few wands!

These are certainly AWESOME!!! LOVE THE ENGINES SOUNDS, it's almost sounds like the old GE U330 CS, I WONDER why they didn't in stall them fog lights or ditch lights, 😁👌👍

Thanks! Ditch lights weren't commonly used in the US while these were in service in the 70s and early 80s. That feature only became standard in the 1990s and onward.

Okay so I know that the RS-11 was used on quite a few railroads but you missed out on a paint scheme that 1 of 2 RS-11 locomotives still running to this day and that’s the Napa Valley Wine Train one

Does the flashing beacon on the roof operate in DC only mode? I just ordered one in NKP and was wondering if the BN and NP beacons work as I use only DC and if they do I may purchase a pair.

Alco power was so good looking. Its a shame they got their well deserved reputation. By the time any Rs-11's wore BN green, the Missouri Pacific, had theirs repowered at La Grange, emerging as "GP16's. The MoP got another 10 good years out of them for their efforts.
