Hey Peter, I really love the Dynamometer Car from Rapido Trains UK because it is a good looking piece of rolling stock. It will look very nice behind a Hornby Super Detailed Mallard. Even if Rapido had that accident with the models, I am glad that they have done the right decision to recall all of the models, repair the lights properly and provide free shipping to deliver the models back to the customers as an apology. I would love to get a Dynamometer car for my Hornby Mallard and other Hornby A4s, Flying Scotsman and Hush to pull it behind their tenders.

Great review here peter, an excellent piece of rolling stock from Rapido, I actually picked up one of the original release ones done by Rapido in conjunction with Rails at the end of last year second hand and while I did pay more for it compared to what these ones are selling for I’m overall very happy to have one, the decision to purchase the one I bought even though it was more expensive was also due to me recently starting a project using a hornby mallard where I take the model and make it look as much like how the real Mallard does in the National railway museum right now. Brilliant service from Rapido to fix the issues that this has unfortunately suffered.

Cheers David, yes, well done to Rapido for resolving the issue. Other manufacturers can learn from this

Great video! I've seen this at the NRM behind 4468 Mallard. All the best.

Brilliant review Peter and a stunning addition to your teak coach fleet. It would also look good being pulled by your LNER livery A4s. Stay safe and take care. Best regards Gary.
