She is good, but is in need of some investment that you may not be able to have right now especially if you are free to play ! As for her best in slot lightcone idk if you actually *need* her signature, but if you can afford it, it's never a bad option.

⁠@@8-bitSprinkles the F2P come Eternal Calculus is available in the Herta Shop in Simulated and Divergent Universe. Save your pulls after Rappa. I HIGHLY recommend Aventurine who comes after the first two banners. His shield is mad useful. Other good ones that are 4 stars are the Serval one something Clamors I think and Before the Charmony Fall. So her LC isn’t a hard necessity. I can recommend some guide channels if you’d like!

​@@8-bitSprinkles one thing i would like to say, don't be discouraged by the community in wich character to pull. The story doesn't really demand you to play meta character to clear (tho, you may have a hard time with some of the bosses), and the game is generous enough to give us a very good free characters including the mc (he/she is very strong). The end game might be a different story tho, it is guaranteed that you will have an easier time with meta unit. (I guess that's also works with the story? 😅) Anyway, have fun with the game sprinkles. Enjoy your game the way you see fit 😊

My honest opinion if u get rappa when you nearly started damage and breaking does a lot for her I'm saying this off what I'm getting she will help u a lot in the early stages of the game. Also not to mention rappa ignores weakness types. So you are gonna get some good damage off her.

You can pull her if you like her, she is one of the DPS characters, or else you can wait until acheron and aventurine which will be open after rappa, this two are really good, but most important is just pull whoever you like so that you can play it happily 😂 Can't wait to see the video on Friday!!🥳

He is really a fun character, there are also part of the main story will talk about him. 💡As a knowledge for you, you can put one Preservation or Abundance character in one team to make sure your team can maintain their health. @@8-bitSprinkles Ahhh I see before you get Aventurine! You can use Natasha (will give you through the main story) or Lynx first, these two characters can help you get through most of the level in the early game. Or even better if you get Bailu.

honestly, its not a bad idea to pull for her, but i dunno if I'd recommend her normally. So many other characters you are gonna want will come through shortly, so saving up for the reruns will be a good idea. HSR is the best in the buisness when it comes to Reruns, they are generally on a set schedule and cycle through pretty quick- escpecially now that they are doing multiple reruns/rerun selectors. The reason id say to pull for her is because shes a Superbreak maindps, and next 2.7 patch has Fugue who is a Superbreak support- so with the Trailblazer's Harmony form you have 3/4th of a premium team, only missing a sustain. You wont be able to pick up a limited Sustain like Aventurine if you go this route, but since Gallagher comes with a 4star selector in the Penacony Drink Mixing event you should have clear buildpath. Thats my 2 cents,

@@8-bitSprinkles Aventurine fits in almost every team, its a matter of not having enough jades for him on account of pulling 3 patches in a row if you go for him too. Rappa, Fugue, H-MC, and Gallagher is recommended because Gallagher adores Break Effect and Superbreak- but if your gallagher is at low eidolon level then Aventurine is the smarter pick: He will do less dmg but your team will be immortal lmao. Gallagher is a healer with a big stick, so you'll need to heal less due to the enemies dying quick- but aventurine makes the team immortal so your speed wont matter. Up to you, pulling for 3 characters in a row can be painful but it might be worth it!

If you would want to pull her, as a new player, i would be conflicted. For her to be good she needs a free to play unit that you will much later in the game. Around christmas another 5-Star will be released that would work aswell. As a veteran player: She works very well if you have her best team and is very satisfying to watch in combat. The sad thing is, there is really not much variety to her teams. There is just the one best option and a beginner version of that team, which, again, needs that one unit to properly function.

I was told she is good for Rappa, I want to try to get her too and Aventurine, it might be hard but I'm gonna try because I like Rappa XD I will try to push the main story and progress as much as I can (to get harmony MC? I believe this is the free character everyone is referring to? I don't really know what this means lol but others said I need it and it's later in game)

You picked the right time playing this game because Version 3.0 is coming and last time in 2.0 we got a free limited 5 stars as rewards. The game is also generous in general. Every patch you get 10 pulls for free.

I'd say pick who you like this patch and go for them. If you like Rappa there will be a good supporting character for her next patch who is also a beautiful fox lady.

We pretty much know nothing about rappa other than the fact that shes from galaxy ranger (same faction as boothil) and also she will pretty much be in a super break team so if u like her playstyle and her character then i recommend pulling her as she would help out alot of endgame content. Do keep in mind that aventurine and acheron will rerun on the second phase of 2.6 and also sunday and fugue on 2.7. Theres just so many good upcoming characters but i will still be pulling for rappa cuz shes cool

@@8-bitSprinkles a break team is a team that does their main dmg after breaking the enemies defense(white bar) and that also has a major boost in their break effect ( the more break effect the more easily the break the white bar) good characters for this team would be firefly and the rappa as dmg dealers and then ruan mei, trailblazer harmony(penacony), and fugue(according to leaks) and gallagher and lingsha as healers

Best part is that next patch is full of some decent dps banners, you have Rappa (I assume Rappa will be a decent dps character but I'm not sure), Dang hang. Imbibitor Lunae and Acheron. Though I'm not the best at meta stuff they should all be pretty good for your needs. The only struggle is that they tend to work best with particular 5 star supports but I'm sure you can make it work. I'm thinking Rappa might be easier to use since you're new but I'm not too sure either. I usually just go for who I like, though I have noticed team building matters a little more in hsr than genshin lol, so throwing random characters together can't always work well.

From what I've seen she's very strong, and it should be pretty easy to build a team with her. Also she does a fair amount of AOE, which makes her decent in alot of the games content. You might not be able to capitalize on her full potential till you unlock stuff later on. Similar to Genshin you just need a sustain = healer, buffer, sub dps, and main dps. The game gives quite a bit of free 4 star characters while you progress, which you can build off of until you reach your ideal team. Looking forward to seeing your playthrough!

@@8-bitSprinkles I'm glad you are approaching it that way, because that's the best way to enjoy it. It isn't a game that requires as much meta chasing as Genshin, and you can make mostly every character work well in their respective roles. Since the main focus for it all is the storyline over anything else. My main teams were built with both gameplay and how much I liked each character.

HSR gameplay focused on team building, so advices like "Pull for whoever you want" is not wrong BUT always know how to build a team around the characters you pulled cuz if not, the game gonna be a torture (not really, but you know what I'm saying XD). Compared to all Hoyo games, HSR has the most thinking-based gameplay but also the most fun. You'll see when you start playing it.

You still can play old story events and claim the permanent rewards, the limited-time weapons are still obtainable, and so on. The Quality of Life features in this game go crazy, and they keep adding it every patch.

Unfortunately, it's still the same as the other games but at least you can still experience the event.
