This "bully" was simply a young man trying to make some money to provide for his family and get some exposure as an aspiring rapper. He has a video about it and it seems like they really abused these people with fake padding and editing to create the narrative that would sell to Mtv
@jessetaft12 жыл бұрын
Idk about abused, it’s obvious the storylines were made up, it’s an mtv reality show after all, but when they signed up they knew what the deal was and that they were signing up for a fight. Every reality show is edited to create a narrative, if that surprised him that’s his fault, he literally signed up to be the bully character on a show called Bully Beatdown, did he think they were going to make him look good?
@JK-cz6bu2 жыл бұрын
@@jessetaft1 I sorta agree because no one forced him into this scenario but they knew these folks were desperate for money and attention. Sure he signed and got paid a few grand but he definitely got some surprises at his safety/expense which were shady and done for ratings. A professional MMA fighter body slamming an untrained fighter (fair) onto a hard platform (shady) to the point where he is dizzy and can't continue to standup....with "pads" that are basically cloth(shady) so he'd get hurt worse for more appeal to Mtv. Well, he signed up to get slammed but sheez give the guy some safety protection instead of making sure he got hurt. When he signed he thought the protective equipment was real and didn't know the platform for like being slammed onto a hardwood floor. After watching his video I felt like they could have done more to protect the bullies (at all) knowing they would be getting dominated. Apparently any of the scenes where he put up a decent fight (not many) were deleted.
@JK-cz6bu2 жыл бұрын
@@jessetaft1 BTW It's hard to feel bad for someone who says they got impaled at Laguna beach and gets the chance to surf there. I've been there many times on business trips and it is gorgeous. Who on earth believes these stories should get bullied 😂
@oldironsides41072 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say he was abused. There was this hobo who lived where we used to fish as kids and we would give him a couple bucks to eat leftover night crawlers or minnows. Or toads we catch to give him the opportunity to eat them for money. He would eat pretty big fish. Whole live fish as well. He was just out there earning it.

Hi Steven, your summary at the end was perfect. You can't mess around with these guys. I joined Gracie Barra Northwest England, around 15 years ago but I was then in my early 30s. I had trained wrestling with my uncle for years, occasionally at the famous snake pit in Wigan. But nothing can prepare you for this if you just walked in like this kid from the street as such. I thought i could grapple, even though it had been a few years. The second week, I woke up with my feet in the air after getting a baseball choke. Never saw it coming, but it was instant. A rude awakening 🤣 My coach was Lucio lagarto Rodriguez, and now and then we got to roll with braulio estema. Both absolutely the coolest dudes ever. I'm 50 now and life and kids and even granddaughter rules my life ,but I'd like to think it's still there if I ever needed it..got to brown under Lucio to be fair 😎 Your break downs and explanations of holds and moves is superb. I like the principle of the show for real bullies getting payback but I don’t enjoy seeing a random man getting injured and laughed at. There is really nothing to laugh about, he could have gotten seriously injured.
