Kevin Osceola is the beat boxer. Check him out and some of his solo work. When they found him and asked him to come join them he had just been accepted into Harvards School of Medicine.. He told them he would have to think about it. He decided to go with hem and the rest is history. He also plays keyboards and electric Cello. Listen to Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. It was called The Sing-Off. They were on the next-to-last season of the short-lived show, the only season of the show that I got to watch. It was pretty cool, they had a bunch of a capella groups competing against each other for the top spot. I was kinda sad when I found out that it was discontinued.

As far as Christmas songs go, I love their version of Harl the Herald Angels Sing. In general there is no wrong way to go with Pentatonix, however when they did Video Killed the Radio Star on The Sing Off is when I saw just how special they could be. You should definitely watch that video, and honestly their whole run on The Sing Off was great. Hearing one song by them led to me watching every episode of The Sing Off from that moment on.

Wow that’s crazy. They’re great by the way. Sounds phenomenal. So yesterday I picked my 10 year old daughter from school to take her to soccer practice and she said “we are performing little drummer boy at our Christmas concert next month” I was like oh yeah? That reminds me BP just did a little drummer boy reaction I haven’t had a chance to check out yet, let’s pull it up. As soon as it starts she blows up, “that’s the one we’re doing!” So they’re doing instruments with this song. She’ll be on the Lowe’s bucket lol. I’m kinda excited to see how this goes. Pentatonix was on The Masked Singer, too. My 14yo daughter loves the show. She decided about a quarter of the way through the group's first appearance that they were the California Roll. I had to agree with her. They have a very unique sound, and no matter the genre, their style songs through. She had to wait until the second-to-last episode for confirmation, poor thing ... but that meant more performances for us to hear!
