Saw Steve Miller last summer in Woodinville, WA. Such a great show. Also, this is a good one to listen to through headphones. That whip crack goes through your head. 😎 Edit: saw Steve Miller last week in Spokane and he told a quick story of when Eminem asked if he could sample this song. Eminem is basically the same age I am. When we were kids this song was everywhere on Rock radio and MTV. I think Eminem was trying to nostalgia on two levels...a hook and sample that hearkens to his childhood and lyrics and cadence that hearkens to his early adulthood. Being that I'm in the same cohort that really worked for me.
