Rapper Lecrae on Nearly Leaving Christianity, the Political Divide & Prayer

I wish God would hear my prayers. I keep fasting and praying still no break through. I’m a single mother with two children. My husband died three years ago. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease)I was denied my religious/medical exemptions. I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed even accused of lying simply because I post comments asking for prayers. It hurts. I’m already so embarrassed over my situation and to have christians be the ones that mocked me makes it hurt even more. It hasn’t been easy especially since I’m all alone. I want to give up but my children need me also my faith in God is too strong. I still have faith God will change my situation and prove abundantly. Please keep me in your prayers.

I had walked away from walking with Jesus, due to my own brokenness. God always had His hand on me, 15 years later I re-dedicated my life to Jesus & never stopped since. I completely understand how he almost walked away, we're not perfect or sinless once we're saved. For those judging LeCrae, pull the log out of your eye before trying to take the speck out if his.

Calling it an "Entertainment Industry" I guess these days that's what's going on in the church. its supposed to be a "Ministry" that's where the "modern church" has gotten it wrong. This is why we have to keep our eyes open and have discernment from the Holy Spirit.

Humility is self reflection. The way to achieve humility amongst a group is to be humble yourself. If it’s always everyone else’s fault then maybe self introspection might be required.

How do you nearly leave Christianity? You're either in or you're out. You're either born again and know the Lord or you're not. Christianity is experiential it isn't wishful thinking. It isn't a club membership. It isn't an optional life choice.

I loved LaCrea’s honesty about his struggles. Hypocrisy is a common theme that people who come to the faith use as a reason to give up on faith. I too met a lot of hypocrites at church. It lead me into sin but I never ceased to believe. Eventually I crawled my way up out of the pit I was wallowing in. LeCrae just needs prayer. Don’t give up dude. The lesson I learned is Christians should not be our example, Jesus Christ the son of God is our example. Remember it was the “so called” religious that Jesus railed against (the hypocrites). So if other Christians are acting like Pharisees then we must be the better example. We are set apart guy. Let’s make a difference. God bless you LaCrea. Be strong.

Let's just pray that he really gets right with God and repents. You shall know them by their fruits. And he ain't walking in the Spirit. And I don't care what anybody says! Look up when he was at a wu tang concert in Denver a couple years ago, he was arguing with a guy who was preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and repentance and he just was acting like a fool. I don't hate the man, just his character it's not of Christ. Let's just lift him and many others like thus in prayer. 🙏

I believe when some men walk away they just have to experience the freedom of saying they can walk away… but there’s no love and message on the planet like Jesus’s way. So hopefully in time they will all come back… because Jesus is alive and always calling us back to Him… we are here to be transformed however long it takes… 💛

@@michellesteed6031 indeed, there is a difference between showing fruits and sinning, nowhere does God say after we are saved that we stop sinning and become perfect. But by the Fruits of The Spirit, after we sin we show remorse, repent from it, confess our sin, and we are granted forgiveness by God. There is a differnce between being perfect and sinless (wich no human is, but Christ incarnate) and being saved/regenerated at heart, and showing it by your fruits or a fellow believer discerning wisely. Mindfulness just means paying attention to what’s happening in the present, as opposed to operating in auto pilot and dwelling on the past/worrying about then future. It’s really not a big deal dude, I have chemo brain and need to do it more
