So PLAVE aren’t indie, but their situation is still rather unconventional because their company isn’t an entertainment company. VLAST are a start-up tech company who have worked in VFX before. As explained, Yejun was the first to join PLAVE under VLAST and then proceeded to bring in the others, but the exact details of how Yejun got involved with VLAST are a company secret (as told by them). Since VLAST are a tech company and not an entertainment company, PLAVE handle most of the composing, writing, and choreographing themselves while their company handle their models, SFX, and rigging. The benefit of this is the rigging is constantly being improved upon because the ones in charge of all that stuff are full-time employees. They’re not free-lancers who complete a commission and then move on to another project. I was also sooo surprised to find out PLAVE were already friends cuz like… those five have waaay too much talent to not have been specifically recruited by a talent agent. In my opinion, PLAVE are THE MOST all-rounded of all the all-rounded kpop groups I know. They might as well be a group of aces.

It really is amazing that Plave is formed thru connections because normally, idols are picked thru auditions instead. VLAST got lucky that Yejun already has talented friends he could ask to join. Also Eunho is indeed too powerful but his dance skill is nerfed 😂 he tries his best tho

For someone who has been reading a lot of webtoons created by korean artists, Plave is a blessing for me. Just imagine seeing an anime version of the comic you're reading. What's amazing is that Plave are real people, who has genuine personalities and real talents. What made me genuinely stan them is their natural talent. They have a lot of participation in their contents. Plus, they are all hell of a funny group. There was never a dull moment with them. There's also a lot of inside jokes in the fandom. I ain't leaving this rabbit hole. Never.

10:44 this is their fancafe/fan community. It’s where they can see fan posts and the company can posts official announcement regarding schedules, music show attendance, etc. and sometimes people can only register to them through purchasing a fanclub membership during the fan recruitment period. Before (like 1st to mid 3rd gen), fancafes were one of the few ways a company can post or share info. But nowadays there’s weverse, twitter, vlive (rip), or in stray kids’ case, the community tab in jyp bubble.

Thank you for the reaction to PLAVE again 😄. I really like your focus when reacting even though this is quite a long video. Also, I saw 2 videos about PLAVE's iconic & funny moments compilation at the end of the reaction so I would love to see you react to them. They have many moments in their broadcasts. As for music, each PLAVE member has covered many songs very well. They cover during broadcasts and also post other covers on their fan cafe. Furthermore, PLAVE has 3 members who know studio techniques, so they are completely capable of producing and remixing the song in their own style. This is great because it doesn't get boring for me even after listening to the original version of that song many times.
