Since you asked around 16:45-16:55 for what happens in One Piece, I'll give you a summary. Luffy(protagonist wearing the straw hat) sails the seas to find the One Piece, which is the treasure Gol D. Roger(the first narrator and character shown in OP 1), the King of the Pirates, left in the last island of the Grand Line. Whoever finds the One Piece becomes the next King of the Pirates. Luffy's crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, will gain members throughout the story.

One Piece was published in Shounen Jump in 1997. One Piece the anime came out in 1999. A lot of this is music from the late 90s and early 00s. The first song and the one you rave much later about the announcer is by the same exact singer/band. And We Are! is very popular in Japan and has been remade. Plus I'd say most of OP's openings are written/sung by J-pop bands and in newer it's an honor for an artist to be selected to write or sing a One Piece opening with how popular the series has become. It's the second best selling comic of all-time behind Superman.

Nico Robin (Black haired women / Archeologist) : Her dream is to find out the secret of Void Century. It's kinda hard to explain what the Void Century is. Cyborg Franky (Blue Haired Cyborg / Shipwright). His dream is to build the strongest Ship that able to passes through every seas. Brook (Afro skeleton / Musician) : His dream is to reunited with his friend Laboon, that little baby whale and helps Luffy to be the king of pirate. At 29:48 , the intro with your favorite announcer, there was a time jump in the series. Long story short, they got their butts handed to them, and upon a seperation they all trained for 2 years (which was why Pinocchio/Usopp was so fat in the previous intro haha.) Along with everyone "Leveling Up", the animation and music took a Level Up approach and really pushed in to making it top notch intros for us who had to wait for their return, it was a momentous moment and that intro is still probably the most favored intro to fans.

Japanese is in general a great language to sing, because it's a syllabic language, consonants are almost always separated by vowels and even if there are two consonats next to each other they create kind of one sound (like "ts"), in addition syllables and words end with vowels (very little exceptions), thanks to that it's very melodical and it's easy to fit the words in the rythm of the music, lyrics doesn't even have to rhyme and song sounds amazing :D

Oda dominates in his ability to weave the plot through his story, if at any point in the series you think that something does not make sense, you will surely find the answer later, perhaps you will not find it after two or five chapters but perhaps find the two hundred even, but it is this same hunger for answers, which has led us to 1000+.

The main crew consists of humans (some have superpowers), a reindeer who can change his form using drugs, a cyborg, a skeleton, and a fish person. Pretty sure a literal cloud joins later on, I'm not even there yet

As I'm up to date with the show it just shows how far luffy and crew has gone, the nostalgia is nuts here man, even tho it's more then 1000 episodes I definitely recommend this anime

This show is so special to me. Seeing how some of the most nostalgic music in my life can still be enjoyed and appreciated by people who don’t know the show makes me happy. Loved the reaction bro. I don’t recommend this show to people just due to the time investment alone. But if you ever feel that itch for adventure it’s quite a ride.

yes, the second to last op is basically the same as the first op. i think it was celebrating a one piece anniversary or something, showing an updated version of the first op with the entire crew. in the first version, you have the first ship Going Merry and first 5 crew members in their original outfits: Luffy (captain, main character, stretchy body), Zoro (first mate, swordsman), Sanji (chef/kickboxer/always smoking), Usopp (sharpshooter/inventor), and Nami (navigator, staff wielder, orange hair). the other version has their second ship Thousand Sunny and the other 5 crewmembers in their current outfits: Chopper (doctor, transforming reindeer), Robin (scholar/historian, black haired woman that can grow multiple limbs), Franky (shipwright, cyborg), Brooke (musician/skeleton), and Jimbe (helmsman/fishman)

It's very possible that not many people react to the EDs because One Piece literally stopped using them during the end of Enies Lobby. So there's only, like, 6? EDIT: I forgot to mention: the first ED - Memories -is _heavily_ tracked for copyright. You can hardly find it anywhere where it hasn't been removed by Toei.
