Having watched a number of reactions to this live rendition of Black, I find it ironic that a white American picked up on all the British references so many Black Americans missed or weren't as knowledgeable about. Even knowing why Windrush is significant and who Jack Merritt is! Blimey. Black Americans, this Black Brit says you need to step up your game! Great reaction video to a show-stopping performance from Dave. The African treaty you were referring to may have been the "Scramble for Africa" which began with the Berlin Conference in 1884 where Africa was carved up amongst several European countries without them having to go to war. The Red Line Agreement in the 1920s also carved up oil resources from Turkey all the way down to Yemen between America and several European countries.

I don't want to sound like I'm generalising but your knowledge on world events, politics and history (that doesn't involve the USA) is well beyond what I've come to expect from Americans. Don't get me wrong, I don't like to tar groups of people with the same brush based solely on their geographical, racial, economical or religious group but most Americans i see on TV or social media seem to only have knowledge of their own country when it comes to politics, history, culture and important events. Windrush - the West Indians that were invited by the British to come and build the country back up in 1948.
