Sappho was actually a poet. Her type of poetry consisted of rhyming over a beat (Sappho was essentially an Ancient Greek rapper). She also was known to be lesbian/bi (hard to say, Ancient Greeks didn’t exactly fit sexuality as we understand it). Worth noting, her “husband’s” name essentially translates to dick from man island. Overly Sarcastic Productions has a video on KZbin about Sappho. Would fully suggest to anyone interested.

AC is Alternating Current, it's when the voltage alternates extremely fast between positive and negative, so fast that you can only see it when broken down to the miliseconds. AC is superior to DC in that it can deliver much higher voltages without significant losses. There is a device called a "transformer" which usually transforms a higher voltage to a lower one, while a "Step-Down" transformer is used to transform high voltage from AC to low voltage in DC. In the rap battle between Edison and Tesla, Edison also refers to AC and DC in the line "I don't alternate my flow, I diss you directly".

They were not in the Amazon, they were based off the Amazons in Greek mythology, and canonically (in the comics, the mythological Amazons were a bit nonspecific, but are generally held to have been inspired by a group of people the Greeks met in an area that is now called Crimea) lived on the island of Themyscira, not in the Amazon rainforest (that was actually also named after the mythological Amazons).

When a battle is close like this I default to a simple way to judge who won. Who attacked the person better, not personal attacks, but what they stand for and what they have accomplished. WW attacked stevie's accomplishments and songs a bit, but for the most part she dissed his appearance, personal life, and disability. Stevie on the other hand attacked what WW is. A figure of female empowerment, and a famous fictional character. He hit her shows, accomplishments. And her independence and role as a figure of female empowerment, with the Bechdel and miss independent lines. This is why Stevie wins in my opinion.

Stevie was giving hit after hit and demolished WW with superior ease. Even the grammy joke hits hard, when you realize he literally has more grammies than her outfit has stars on it.

I think my point was, even if it's a 'good style for a blind person,' Stevie couldn't have make the call to copy it off of Ray. If it's a copy, someone else must have done the call to tell him to do it. He himself could not have decided by himself that it's a good style without someone informing him about it. Or maybe he could have just the joy leak out of him a bit too much whenever he played. Or maybe it's Maybelline, who knows.

I think its clear cut stevie wonder win: - better vocals - attack to her character not her person with comments about her not being a good women figure - wonder woman mentioned him being blind way too much, after a diss is used 2 times, I start giving negatives. It makes it look like there isn't much ammunition she had against stevie so she defaulted on easy swings. - stevie wonders had counters to wonder woman's lines - Wonder woman looked like she had to try her hardest to even come close to stevie. while it looked stevie was holding back On the surface level, wonder woman would win, but looking more into the bars, Stevie wins no doubt.
