It’s even more amazing when you look at the timeline. He had NADA at this point: - This song: November 13, 2013 - His Kickstarter: November 20, 2013 (one week later) - Save Dat Money video: June 10 2015 (1.5 years later) - Professional Rapper album debut: July 31 2015, one moth later Talking straight dates it’s amazing how early this track was from LD. He literally predicted his success. This wasn’t him talking about how he blew and isn’t sure if he can keep it. This is him PREDICTING he was about to blow, feeling it coming, and wondering if he was ready. A week later he’d raise $100k from his fans when he was out of cash. A year and a half later he’d blow up, and then one-two punch that with his first album. Amazing.

I love that you focus on the stakes 3 ways its imo the hardest part of the song. He said burning out from upping the stakes which I believe is a play on burned at the stake, then upping the stakes, then up for the steaks. Honestly lets just appreciate the way he rhymed -gy/ity 13 times in a row, i think he did that in such a nice way! ---- below the lyrics i'm referring to: Feelin' weird, lemme think of an analogy Just imagine for a second what if Russell Westbrook never knew his own mentality Grew up on a farm where the biggest commonality Was people that conform to the ruralest localities To Russell though it was nuffin' but normality And he really nice up on the plow in actuality Everybody liked the kid and dug his personality And so da mutuality was somewhat rationality So then ya man made a plan of practicality Not even a plan, it was more of a formality Get a little land and attend to its vitality Then raise a little fam 'til it all became finality

At first, I didn’t think I’d like how much you stopped and broke down each bar but it grew on me fast. I genuinely appreciate you breaking everything down, it’s refreshing and not normal. Some people try but I don’t think they fully grasp what some of Dicky’s bars mean. You do. At least you do the same way I do 😂 not sure how many Dicky reactions you’ve done but I’ll be checking those out now. I’m not huge on the rap game but I enjoy listening to LD because he has meanings behind everything he says, even if some of them are just completely off the wall 😂 thanks man, liked & subscribed.

So, thing is, Knox breaks these down so good BUT, then uses this knowledge to make himself better. You can see it in the latest Int. Cypher flow, his was the most technical. Very few analysts (of anything) can break things down well AND do the things they are analyzing in the real world. KH is high level.

You gotta do the anatagonist, professional rapper, his freestyles, and honestly just so much more of this man’s discography.
