Yo, everytime Knox reacts to a NF song I just get so giddy "Oh he's gonna love this one! He's gonna love this!" and then he goes ahead and loves it :D Don't know why but it makes me so happy. Maybe it's because so few people I know listen to NF's music so it's just so satisfying to see him like it? I don't know. Aaanyway I also love how he really catches up on the lyrics and he brings his own insider perspective of being a rapper so I learn something new or he finds the proper terms for the instrumental aspects I enjoyed without knowing what they're called or how they're produced. Always highly appreciated :) I highly recommend reacting to "Know" and "All I have" !

OMG! I am exactly the same! I literally smile and start to like talk to myself while I’m watching him, because I know he’s going to get so excited about a new NF song. Also, all of my friends I’ve made listen to him (NF) hate him and it makes me really sad because I need more NF stans in my life. It makes me super happy that someone else can like NF just as much is me. I also really appreciate how much Knox will break down the lyrics and he makes me notice things that I don’t even notice. He’s very skilled rapper and rapper analysis. lol I also really appreciate how in all of Knox‘s reactions he knows so much about hip-hop culture and can tell you everything that he knows and what he notices in every song. He is a good influencer! He also makes really good music!

This song saved my life back in 2015. I was dealing with high functioning depression and did not know how to put what I was experiencing in words. This song got me through a very tough season in my life and for that, I am forever grateful. I'm glad it is getting the recognition it deserves!

For me this song basically describes my life, when I was younger I was so confident and carefree, but as I get older I constantly feel out of place and alone. When I want to speak up I feel stuck. I'm held back by the fears and I'm paralyzed. I've forgotten how to be that person I used to be.

The way its so raw and emotional, yet so beautiful is because most rappers, and heck, even most singers don't really let you inside thier mind. Nate is one of those gems that does, and he paints a picture of himself so amazingly broken, you can't help but realize that if he has gone through so much crap, so much drama, and became so successful, then we can too! My birth parents were both heavily addicted to drugs, and I got put up for adoption at a very young age. I never got to know them, or even remember them at all. When I was 12, I tried committing suicide, and failed, yet I will always carry the scar from it. I started listening to music, much like NF, and it helped so much. Skillet and Switchfoot helped me through so much. It helped me see how amazing life is, and how much I had to live for. So I turned my life around. I started working out, studying as much as I could, and I started seeing changes. I got into a community college at 15 years old, and graduated in Engineering at 19. I joined the Marines, and have been in for about 3 years now. I have a gf, and plan on wedding her in the near future. For whoever reads this and gets to the end of this, just know that life DOES get better. PLEASE! Don't ever feel like your alone, or you don't matter! Stay strong, and surround yourself with people who can help! Sorry for all that, but I hope it helps someone SUICIDE HOTLINE - 1-800-273-8255

Man!! This is one of my favorite NF songs. One of my favorite lines is “I no longer feel things I know I should.” There has been times in my life where I have been so numb from circumstances that with conversations I had I knew I should feel a certain way, I should be mad, or pissed off, but felt nothing... It’s one of the weirdest feelings when you realize you can’t feels anything when you know you should. Please do “Lost in the Moment” it’s Nate pleading with himself to face his issues, another beautiful song

Very common description of depression is to feel numb, and to feel like what you say and do isn't really you. It can be suffocating or make you feel like there's too much and you're drowning. When I was dealing with depression, I heard this song and it spoke to me directly. There was a feeling of knowing what I should do and what I wanted to do, but feeling "paralyzed" and incapable somehow of doing it or reaching for it or moving forward at all really. It's a very hard thing to deal with. There was a point where I realized that I wasn't getting excited like people around me about things, I wasn't getting angry when offended or hurt (in fact, a lot of times I would say I didn't deserve to be excited or that I deserved the things that happened to me), the only thing that was really there was a numb sensation, and I think the best way to describe my emotional state basically the entire time I was depressed is "forlorn"; sad, lonely, and hopeless. "They must have left with all of my faith" means loosing faith in himself and in the relationships around him. I assumed everyone was disappointed in me, and that they were only dealing with me out of pity. I didn't really think less of THEM, though, but I thought I was just that completely and totally worthless. That's what that line says to me. "Waves come crashing over me but I just watch em, I just watch em. I'm underwater but I feel like I'm on top of it, I'm at the bottom but I don't know what the problem is, I'm in a box but I'm the one that locked me in. Suffocating and I'm running out of oxygen." That perfectly captured how my depression felt, when I heard this song for the first time. In the last chorus, the yelled parts sung over the chorus felt like the thoughts I had back then. There's genuinely a frustration with being self-aware of your depression and the stagnation it creates but still being unable to escape from it because you really are trapped inside it. So certainly to me, and I bet to anyone who's suffered significantly from depression, that is 100% what this song is about. Great track, probably saved my life.

People need to hear this..we aren't alone. As i wrote as comment on mansion, living through trauma as a child teaches us a lot of things... I stopped crying when I was 13, I felt that I cried enough for a lifetime. If you can make yourself stop crying imagine how you can shut your emotions down. That's a work in progress to unlearn. No shame. Thnx NF & Knox

It’s crazy, this track and the way you broke it down. I’ve listened to this song for a little over two years now, and not once did I stop to think as much as you did on your first reaction. My first time listening, I had no clue what it was, but thought the production was awesome, so I stuck with it. I decided to listen closer, and realized more or less what the song was about- not feeling anything, burying the pain so deep you don’t know it’s there, just going through life on autopilot. That’s why this song hits so hard and different for me. I can fully relate to this song, and it’s beautiful. I love the way you break the song down. It really helps me understand the music better, make my love for NF even deeper, and makes me think. You give such Perception on the music you react to (see what I did there 😂 ok ok sorry-). You have no idea how much I appreciate this- you, your videos, your music, everything. Thank you, truly 💚 (ok now that all that sappy stuff is out if the way-) As for song recommendations, I would absolutely love to see you react to Let Me Go, if you haven’t done that one. It’s part of his The Search album. Highly recommended, and really makes you think. It’s beautiful, and I would absolutely love to see you react to that (I’ll check your channel to make sure you didn’t already - w - ) Oh Lord is a beautiful one, and shows really how the world is about God. More than highly recommended, it definitely is one of my favorites from Nate. Last not most certainly not least, I Just Wanna Know. The official music video is interesting, and I’d love to see how you take it. I myself am slightly confused with the video, but nonetheless, I can relate the music more than ever. I’d love to see you break that one down as well 😁 Ok, sorry for making you read this long ass comment. I’m really passionate about music, and once I start talking, there’s no off switch 😂 Have a fantastic day, and peace out 😎

You know, to me, I have listen to this a million times, and I relate to his music so very much. From my point of view, this song, to me, means, you are paralyzed to who you are, where you came from, where you are going. That moment in life that even tho you are sure of your past, present, and what you hope of your future, you have to wonder, what is real? What is right? And what will make a positive impact, even after you are gone?

This is one of my favorite songs. If reminds me of my past, but it shows how i have changed from it. My dad traumatized me. He abused me to the point the point of suicide and then i stopped feelings emotions. I'm doing better now, but this is a good reminder that I was able to change. As well as leave him behind and got out of the dark place.
