Official MVs have close captions. Jin just got out of the Korean army in June--he is the only one out right now. Jimin is still in the army, they made his album and videos before they entered mandatory service. All other members also released solo works.

All seven members enlisted in the military by December 2023, and JIN just was released from service on June 12, 2024. He's the elsest and firsr member that enlisted. J-Hope was the second member to enlist and will be discharged on October 17, 2024, all the rest of the members will be discharged in June 2025. They already have a comeback planned when they return. Their new contract starts when they come back together as BTS in June 2025. BTS were the first K-Pop group to create an alternate universe that followed throughout their albums, music videos, short films, highlight reels, album notes, web toons, etc. Other groups started to do it when BTS became very successful. So that was one of many ways that BTS paved the way for other groups. Like breaking into the US market in 2017. They won their first Billboard award in 2017, Top Social Artist.

They switch between Korean and English. 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Jimin is in the military he recorded his album before he went in. Jin is the only one who is out. Jhope is the next one in October to be released. All the other members will be released next year in June. All the members released solo albums before going in the military except Jin, who is working on one now. BTS also has rapline songs as well as vocal line songs within the group. I recommend Outro Tear live with English subtitles for rapline 💜 and House of Cards live for a vocal line song. BTS are even better live.

Oh did you forget to click captions as they are official translation for the Korean parts. The song is about half and half Korean and English. That's because RM speaks perfect English and often write's lyric's both in English and Korean he also speaks Japanese and so they have full japanese album as well.

I would love to watch you fall down the bts rabbit hole.💜 Fun fact: Mic drop was inspired by former US President Barack Obama's mic drop at his final White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2016. If you love rap, you might probably check out born singer by Bts. It is an adapted song by BTS of J. Cole's song "Born Sinner ". Originally, the song was released unofficially on July 11, 2013, and it has the same composition as the original and the lyrics were re-written by RM, SUGA and J-Hope. ( the three rappers) In 2022 they remastered it and it appeared on their proof album. There is no music video but the life version is incredible. Feel free to check out their solo works as well.

This song is for the haters. BTS has so many songs in different genres. As an Army, I listened mostly for songs that BTS wrote for the Army such as Magic Shop, Mikrokosmos, Make It Right feat Lauv, to name a few. The best thing about them is that they sound better live....all the time. So if you can check out Mic Drop SNL Live..you will love it. Jin has just finished his 18months of military service that is him in his military uniform. The rest of BTS are still serving their military service and will be back in June 2025. All South Korean males have to do at least 18months military service as they are still techincially at war with North Korean as they only have a Cease Fire Agreement. The members are serving on the front line eg the border.

RM was Clearly Rapping in English expect for 2 words. RM Leader/spokesman main song writer of the 7 with over 200 song credits with the South Korean Copyright Association of which he's a Full member which is not an easy thing to achieve in fact 4 member of BTS are Full members and the other 3 members are Associate Members of the South Korean Copyright Association. The first Rapper was J Hope (he was part of the underground Hip Hop scene as a Street Dancer with the Street Dance Crew Neuron) Second Rapper our savage kitten Min Yoongi (Suga aka Agust D) also from the underground Hip Hop scene As a Rapper/Producer. Then our Leader and poetic RM Rapping in English also from the underground Hip Hop scene as a Rapper. Oh Jimin had a little bucket hat on in part of the MV but so did J Hope. For an easier why so recognise them and know a bit more about the we always suggest the Guide to BTS the Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari. It' really is helpful but Taylor doesn't narrate she embeds text into the guide so people can pause and read.

Check out Outro: Tear - live performance (the one with green lights and the guys in all black). It is only the "Rap Line" of BTS which is RM, Suga, and J-Hope. Another good one with just rap line is "UGH". I believe those have English subtitles if you find the right ones.

I’m not sure I’m all for the musical cuts here and there. ARMY has supported many BTS reactors, as long as they are respectful and honest. Almost all of their MVs have captions - just so you know for next time! If you love hip-hop you will probably love the Rap Line's work. RM, SUGA (Agust D as a soloist) and j-hope. Also, a lot of their earlier work from 2013-14 is heavily hip-hop oriented. RM and SUGA were both underground rappers and made music before joining. - RM astonished their old CEO Bang Sihyuk (now chairman of HYBE) because of his talent at only 16 and was renowned in the underground scene (SUGA said he had heard of him before joining). He is considered a genius lyricist (he is very smart with a 148IQ) and is the youngest Idol with the most song credits in South Korea - Jin was studying to become an actor at a renowned university when he was scouted in the street because of how handsome he is. He didn't sing or dance at all and learned from scratch. He was deemed a 'silver voice' by the Recording Academy of the Grammys and has the widest range out of the vocalists. His voice is powerful, rich and extremely stable - SUGA worked as a producer at 16 for a studio before joining He was later on hired as a producer for Big Hit but they convinced him to join the group. He is now recognised as a "genius producer" by many and even earned awards for his producing work for other artists - j-hope was a street dancer who won competitions before joining and learned rap as a trainee - his sense of rhythm impresses everyone! He is one of the best dancers in the industry and quickly became a renowned songwriter and producer - Jimin was in an art high school to study contemporary dance and was the top student there. He joined Big Hit and started to learn to sing, bringing his distinctive high but powerful voice to the Vocal Line. He is also highly praised a lot by professionals for his higher register and his voice control. His talent in dance also makes him one of the most talented dancers in the industry - V was a multi-talented nobody before joining Big Hit. He went to the audition to support his friend and Big Hit asked him if he wanted to audition himself. He said yes and impressed them a lot - he was the only one selected in his town. They even kept him hidden until the group's debut as a trump card - a marketing tactic. He has an incredible range for a baritone (the only one in the Vocal Line) and can sing really high. He has a charming and soulful voice which is highly praised by professionals - Jung Kook is their golden maknae (the youngest). At 13 years old, after being eliminated from a singing competition show, he was contacted by 7 different agencies including some of the biggest labels in South Korea. But JK chose to join an almost bankrupt label - Big Hit - because he thought that RM was cool. He has an amazing voice control - the most stable voice in the group, even while dancing difficult choreographies - and has perfect pitch. He usually does all their guides from singing to rapping and SUGA said that the vocalists he worked with felt pressured by the quality of JK's guides, haha They all speak English at this point in time but aren't necessarily comfortable speaking. They understand a lot though. Only RM - the leader - has been fluent in English since before their debut They all are serving right now except for Jin - the oldest - who finished his service in June. J-hope will be out as well in October. They worked twice as hard before leaving by recording content in advance so we wouldn't feel to sad without them 💜 The Bangtan Universe (BU) is their fictional storyline. It's a very intricate story so don't worry about it for now, haha Also, their live performances are incredible - you should check some out. Be careful about copyright though. Big Hit is rather chill about reactions but the shows they perform on are not 😅

The only one fluent in English is RM. They all speak more English. They will say even though they sing in English they still have some difficulties as learning any language. J-Hope was the first rapper, SUGA was the second, and RM was the third rapper that rapped in English. JIN's military uniform pic was his discharge day. That's Seargent Kim, Seok-jin. Jimin is in the military they prepared and a lot of content prior to entering and it's slowly being released like Jimin latest album Muse and RM latest Album Right Person, Wrong Place. Jimin's live performance were just that recorded live but saved for release after he started his military sevice. RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook started their military service in December 2023 as posted earlier will be back in June 2025. Hope that helps.

They are all still in the army until mid 2025, when they will be a group again. While in the army, they are not allowed to do anything else, so they can't write, produce or make any music or content etc. They are also not allowed to undertake any promotional work. Everything being released currently, like Jimin's new album, was made prior to their enlistment. They all did this so that their record company could release it throughout their military service, as they can release anything made before, but they just can't promote it themselves. Where others may have been relaxing prior to their service, BTS worked extra hard to ensure fans (called Army) were not left with a big gap.

They are not a regular Boyband and I never think about this as Kpop, they represent more K Music, because they bring all genres in a great different way. Find your way true BTS, you can start as rappers with the rapline, Jhope, Suga ( AgustD ) and RM... BTS HipHopephile, so you know who they studied becaming rappers, then Ugh, Ddang, Cypher 1-4, then individual RM: Do you, Joke, Wildflower, Moonchild. JHope: On the Street collabaration J Cole, More, Arson and Neutron. AgustD: Daehwita, AgustD, Haegum and What do you think? Then the vocal line Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and V. You will find out the BTS songs...Too many great songs to count. Checking them out it means you have to go true hunderds of songs, took me months and still so much more to go. You would get a better experience with the lyrics, guys. They have really rich lyrics throughout their vast discography, including their solo projects. Their most shallow songs are the only three full english songs they have simply because they were written for them (Dynamite, Butter and Permission to Dance), for the rest they would either write themselves or heavily influence the lyrics. Like others said, only Jin is out of the military, J-Hope will be out in October, the rest still have 10 months to go. Check out RM's most recent album Right Place, Wrong Person. For example "Guts" which is a live MV with very good subtitles. It's so out of left field, highly experimental and critically acclaimed. Out of all their solo work he is right now my favourite with Suga's D-Day album second favourite. Good luck with your music as well! 💜💜💜🫰

There are closed captions. This is a diss track so, as rappers, I think you would have liked the English captions. A lot of it was sung in English, but they switch back and forth between Korean and English so it’s hard to catch without CC on. Please give us more analysis as rappers because there are many rappers reaction channels that love the BTS rap line so we like “expertise” analysis of why it was a banger or why you didn’t vibe with that particular song. They are all in the military now. The songs were all done before they left for the militairy. In june 2025 they all will be back

Thanks for your reaction, it would be good as someone else said, to have your in-depth take on the music and rap as you have the insight as artists yourselves. Just be honest and we'll respect that. Otherwise tbh it just looks like you're reacting to get views. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you are, but it can come across like that. Having watched other musicians/rappers react they did a bit more analysis which gave us the idea they really were interested. In fact one rapper said BTS rappers (RM, Suga and J-Hope) were real MC's (don't know what that means lol) - by the way RM & Suga were underground rappers and J-Hope a street dancer before joining BTS and learning rap from them. They are all amazing, humble and genuine individuals who are worthy of your time. We're here for you if you really want to get to know them.
