⚡ 💕 🍑 / 🪬 🌀 This was the world premiere of the song. They also performed 'Mirror, Mirror', 'Time Wave', 'Believing' and 'Metalizm' for the first time that night. Momometal (Momoko Okazaki) was one of the three rotating dancers known as "avengers" supporting BABYMETAL since 2019. At the end of this Black Night concert she was announced to be the newest official member. For the Clear Night concert the next night, she was given a headset microphone, like Moa. 'MAYA' is the Goddess of illusion in Hindu and related religions. It's also a concept in Buddhist philosophy, responsible for concealment about the illusionary nature of things. The upshot is that the world is not what it seems. : )

Nice reaction. Babymetal still going and will be for some time to come. While they are on a big world tour. I'm hoping for a new album sometime soon. even if it's a collaboration album. Keep it up guys. And as always, More Babymetal please. This song comes from The Other One album which deals a lot with the multiverse. Yup somebody around them is a big Marvel movie fan. Song is about magic and how you can have magic power. Is the illusion that you see that you don't have magic? Babymetal songs are written for you to interpret them how you feel the song is about. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

Steve, we are all hoping for a new album early next year and there might be some reason to hope that something is on the horizon. The reason for my optimism is that when Babymetal announced their arena concerts for Europe next year the video announcement mentioned their return to headlining arena shows in Europe "supported by new music". So, whether we are going to see some more cloabs, an EP or a full album, only the Fox God Knows, but whatever we are given we will be grateful for.

I saw them on Knotfest here in Brazil! It was awesome despite the problems they had with the audio. At some point it felt like at least a quarter of the metalheads were there mainly because of Babymetal. I bounced like crazy!

It might be just me, but the entire album “The Other One” has always given me very heavy Attack on Titan vibes. I know the album has nothing to do with the show, but musically, it sounds like it could be the soundtrack.

I get why it took them so long to be fully accepted by most Metalheads; they were radically different. They dared to mix metal with a grenre deemed to be the complete antihesis to metal and pop music and embrace a tone of cheeky humour and cuteness that was the complete opposite of what metal was 'supposed' to be about. They were like a reverse Black Sabbath. They were also unapologetic gate crashers who didn't seem to even acknowledge the existence of elitists and gatekeepers at all. However, that was over a decade ago, and hate and intolerance is not the same thing as musical criticism. In my experience, haters tend to be badly misinformed about them and come from places of wilful ignorance, conformism, pretensiousness, or jealousy, not expertise or superiority. Just calmly fact-checking and counter-arguing them with a bit of plausibly deniable sarcasm tends to make them melt down very quickly.😊

Corey Taylor is definitely a fan. His son introduced their music to him and quite a while back when asked in an interview what he listens to at home he said BABYMETAL. I'm sure they know of Destiny's Child and Beyonce. They have never mentioned them, but they are students of all music. They just finished their tour of South America and Mexico with SlipKnot and playing Knotfest and they are touring the US right now - I hope you got tickets if they're playing anywhere you can get to.

Momometal gets a solo for the night before her 21st birthday I think part of the reason why they dont show the kami band as much in the official videos lately might be cuz theyve been touring with the western kami band who wears masks all the time. Theres less of the facial expressions, interactions, and stage persona because of that. But thats just a theory

I've never been a babymetal fan but always respected their talent. They are here to stay. Hey since Christmas season is upon us i have the perfect song. Its a parody of a nu metal song but wont give you any hints. Pychostick N.E.O.L. trust me, anyone who listens to it will have it on their Christmas Playlist. They also have a rob zombie parody called zombie claus. Both are masterpieces.

I doubt that they really had so many problems with the older Generations. Their most obvious critics were in most cases younger and less successful. But I don"t think they had so many problems after the last Sick New World. And in Europe they were even longer part of the team. There were many Bands that were not really their friends but the Respect they earned. I just remember when zhey met Electric Callboy, both Nico and Kevin obviously tried to hide. Both had the Problem: "How do you speak to a Goddess?". And now after their South America Tour, their next US Tour. Next year Australia and then they will risk their first European and UK Arena Tour. It is a calculated risk after all these festivals that they had in Europe.

@@seanortigoza4727 Barone currently plays with All That Remains alongside the new bassist, Matt Deis. The bassist in this video is Clint Tustin who also plays with Erra (the guitar, tho). The two guitarists also have their own projects: CJ Masciantonio plays in Tethra and Chris Kelly is the vocalist of a new band called Hillhaven.
