Deftones & Tool are top on my playlist. You've seen the butcher, Rosemary, Change, Sextape, Minerva, Digital Bath, so many great songs. I love the guitar riffs in this track. As for Deftones, they're probably the all-time leader in bangers. "Smile" is another classic, & nobody's ever reacted to it. Collab-wise, Chino did one w/ Sevendust- "Bender". It's pretty good.

Deftones existed outside of Nu-Metal and survived long after it died. They just got thrown in with them. You have a lot more of Chino's rap skills to explore. Absolutely MUST review "Head Up" from the same album.

This song is about how harsh the Sun and heat can get in the summer in the Central Valley of California. As a current resident of Sacramento, where Deftones are from, I can tell you, sometimes I feel exactly how he feels screaming that epic chorus. Cloud! Shove! The Sun! Aside! haha. for real tho. It's like that here sometimes. You just want the Sun to go away, but unfortunately, those clouds never come for months on end. And thats all this song is about.
