Nobody ever seems to notice, when watching this video, that when Papa gets up to leave the cinema, he squeezes past the Nameless Ghouls…even though they’re in the front row, and he needn’t squeeze at all. First time I saw this video I cracked up laughing at that. Tobias’s theatrics in general are spectacular-he evokes a lot of Charlie Chaplin.

Square Hammer was the first song by Ghost I heard and immediately fell in love with the band just like I belive you guys will fall in love with The Devil Wears Prada once you react to them, Ghost however is such a phenomenal band they don't get enough credit

I never listened to Ghost before watching Ronnie Radke on twitch. He likes this band and will play them on stream sometimes. I like all the songs I've heard. I saw a video from a concert, it looked like so much fun, a lot of the audience was dressed up similar to the band.

Blue Meanie's finisher was the Meanie-sault. Hornswoggle's was the tadpole splash, which was a frog splash. And I enjoy Ghost, Square Hammer probably is my favorite.

Great reaction. You nailed it. Tobias Forge is Ghost - he sings, writes the songs, and plays all the instruments (except drums). He went to Catholic school growing up in Sweden, and had a bad experience with it. He is trolling religion with Ghost, and they have been hugely popular.

FYI: Tobias Forge aka "Cardinal Copia" from Ghost, once did a song together with Emigrate(Rammstein's lead guitarist Richard Z Kruspe's band) called "I'm Not Afraid". Since you still haven't checked out anything from Emigrate(you're seriously missing out on a bunch of great songs btw), and you enjoy Ghost so much, that might be a good start for you.

Hornswoggle's finishing move was The Tadpole Splash. Tobias's mother was a Jesus Freak and drove him crazy with it. Tobias and Martin set the band up to be The Anti-Pope. Cant wait for the new album coming out this fall or early 2022.

I had the pleasure to go to one of their rituals (concert) in a small venue of maybe 750 people. They love to play theaters. It was amazing and felt like he was really putting on a show just for us. He is also hilarious, got to see the birds and the bees explanation in person :) Sick saxophone solo's and great story telling. If you get a chance to see a ritual you just have to be there.

What you said about them potentially being a smash hit on Contemporary Christian radio is spot on. They once covered Roky Erickson's "If You Have Ghosts" and Roky Erickson wrote a lot of songs where he later (after being subjected to the horrors of a psychiatric hospital where he received shock therapy) crossed out the word "Jesus" and replaced them with "Satan" - and Roky Erickson was definitely an influence on them. (Also, I highly recommend digging into Roky Erickson's work, he's incredibly underrated)

Helloween has just released a fantastic album simply titled "Helloween", it's a reunion with 2 former members, Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske, it's creating a lot of buzz in the Metal world and is charting very well. I would recommend "How Many Tears" from their Headlining performance at Wacken in 2018. You won't be disappointed!

The album with the meg mouth is Prequelle- Square Hammer is on the Deluxe version of Meliora. Happy you finally made it to this one. Friends of mine not into this type of music love this song, lol. Square Hammer, being on the square and being on the level are all a part of freemasonry. Tobias is a freemason. This song is from the EP Popestar and was Ghost first number one on Billboard single list. It also was named best metal song of the 2010:s by loudwire magazine. Good reaction. Now do Rats. Square Hammer is from the Meliora Era (the 3rd full album) on an additional EP - Meliora Deluxe Edition. It is the only original song on the EP and the other songs are covers. The full album itself is soooo good! It's the one that has He Is and Cirice on it. *HIGHLY RECOMMEND CIRICE!!! It's probably one of my favorite Ghost songs in general* Dance Macabre and Rats are both from the 2018 album "Prequelle" (the one with the monster and a Papa-esque figure sitting on it). Other great Ghost songs to listen to from their other albums - Ritual or Stand By Him (1st album - Opus Eponymous) and Year Zero or Ghuleh/Zombie Queen (2nd album - Infestissumam)

Blue Meanie's Finisher is the "Meaniesault" which is a Moonsault & Hornswoogle's Finisher is the "Tadpole Splash", which is a Frogsplash, but since he's so small they called it the Tadpole Splash. Btw. it's funny that you open with talking about that, because "Square Hammer" was actually the theme song for WWE NXT TakeOver: San Antonio back in 2017. Oh, and the wrestlers Chris Jericho & Aleister Black aka Tommy End both have been part of the music video for Ghost's "Dance Macabre".

the Infestissumam Album is my fav! Prequelle is the album this song is off of though. Infestissumam is the album in which I first heard them with the song "Secular Haze". but it has so many other good songs like Year Zero and Per Aspera Ad Inferi and Monstrance Clock. Prequelle has Rats which kind of reminds me of the Flash Gordon Intro
