I started to call their self titled album red jumpsuit after all hope is gone. Before it I would just say slipknot, or Iowa, and so on. When they had 4 albums out that's when I started to say it.

There’s a reason metal uses the pentagram for their imagery. It’s a great way to market their brand and band. People are drawn to darkness a lot more than the light these days and the Devil represents that darkness more than anything other thing in this world. Also Slipknot’s “sound and character” is a dark one, more specifically in their first 2 albums than all the others combined really.

Sorry but this is their 2nd album. MFKR had a few songs added to it which I thought was kinda weird cuz a song like Purity, which is my all time favorite song from Slipknot, would’ve gone well with Iowa. Also, their THIRD album lol, is called “The Subliminal Verses: Volume 3.” Meaning they themselves only saw MFKR and Iowa as their first 2 albums. 🤷🏻‍♂️In fact if you haven’t already done a reaction for Slipknot’s song called Purity, which is on their FIRST album, I strongly suggest that be your next Slipknot Saturday reaction. To be fair, much of, if not most of the songs from mate, feed, kill, repeat were cannibalized to create their self titled album. It's been a while since I've heard it, wasn't much of a fan cause of all redundancy between it and the self-titled album. But hey, it's Slipknot. They were the greatest band in the world from 1999 - 2001.
