Back when they were newer and I hadn't heard much of them, my friend took me to their concert. Usually if I don't know the songs I don't get that engaged. Slipknot is an experience you MUST see. I’ve seen tons of metal bands live but that group just gets you so damn pumped once you get out of there you feel like you can smash down walls, throw full size cars and topple buildings. The energy not only from the band but the energy of the crowd is insane. Corey Taylor is also a wicked front man. The only other band I’ve seen create that kind of energy live is Slayer but even then it pales in comparison. Your first metal concert should be Slipknot fam.

Slipknot concerts are amazing, got to see them at download last year and spit it out with the "jump up" part is seriously such an experience, seeing the entire crowd around you down on the ground then everyone going crazy at the same time is honestly such a relieving time - kinda like family

I wasn't at this show, but saw them in Germany at Rock am Ring festival that same year. Still one of the most memorable concerts I've ever been to. At one point even some first aid people were joining the mosh pits! 80.000 people going completely crazy

It was crazy seeing them at the safari club in des moines to run out without the masks, scramble to set up their gear, run off and put on the costumes then run out and play. Amazing to see them going from playing a club set with like 75 people to 80000 plus. Proud of my hometown boys.
