No greenscreen , all filmed in each location and edited together. According to them - This video was shot in numerous locations all over Regina and Toronto and required an absurd amount of takes but we had a blast making it! You'll catch us dancing everywhere from Kensington Market to the Farmer's Market to hotel construction floors to canola fields. Check out Iron Horse (Metal songs turned Bluegrass)

Toronto, Canada here. I love this group (I'm 77). Besides vibes of Bluegrass, Folk, Country, it reminds me of our fabulous 60s folk and a little bit rock'n'roll. Can you feel it? Of course, they are Canadian. lol

My "brother" in Michigan sent me this one back in, I believe, 2018 and I've been loving these guys' music ever since! They're actually coming to ATL sometime this year! Y'all should try to get out and see them! Most awesome music coming outta Canada right now in my opinion! 🤘🏼💙

Canada is actually a very big source of country music.. 1920s is the date I can remember it going back to after the sound was pushed out of Appalachia in the US and became popular up in various regions of Canada. There was a myth for awhile that country was created in Canada because of its long history many people dont know.

I first heard the new “Outlaw Country” with Colter Wall and Tyler Childers, both amazing artists you guys should check out. These guys here are next level. They even did justice to Chop Suey by SoaD by covering it.

Hell yea! I discovered this band either last year or the year before. My best friend said "Listen to this" and I did and had to listen to all their other songs. There's been somewhat of Blue Grass revival lately and this is one of the bigger bands leading the come back, like Smokey said. And yes, they covered Chop Suey by System of a Down. You two should definitely react to that next by them. Amigo the Devil is another new Blues Grassy artist thats really amazing too🤘🏼

From the 40's through the 20th Century, Hank Snow was one of the most famous country singers with dozens of hits. FYI, he was a Canadian, just like Shania Twain, Anne Murray, etc. etc. etc. Further, Neil Young, Buffy Saint-Marie and dozens of others sang folk style stuff.

There's great music in this kind of folk revival or Americana genre. "S.O.B." by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats is a fun and phenomenal song. Also recommend Uncle Lucius "Keep the Wolves Away" and "The Whistler" by White Buffalo. There was actually a big surge in Outlaw country, country roots, and country swing music with a punk attitude starting (I think) in the late 1990s, loosely referred to as Alt-Country. A few examples are "She's a Jar" by Wilco, "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" by Lucinda Williams, "More a Man" by the Meat Purveyors, "Bette Bette" or "Me and Opie" by BR-549, "Ophelia" by the Lumineers...

Ah The Dead South, my secret guilty pleasure coming from a hardcore metal scene, give 'Banjo Oddessy' a listen, y'all have a great time with that, but really any of their stuff, from 'Broken Cowboy' to their cover of S.O.A.D.'s 'Chop Suey' you should be ok ;)
@leighkaiser7298Ай бұрын
“After I countdown 3 rounds in hell I’ll be in good company”, means “after I shoot 3 rounds, you and I will both be dead and in hell”. The first verse is about a couple who are physically aggressive with each other, and one will likely kill the other. The second verse is about a man finding his “queen bee” in bed with someone else. The 3 rounds I believe implies shooting the guy in bed once, his Queen bee twice. Because the verse also says “hang me from a tree”. So after he counts down 3 rounds (the shots), he’s going to join them in hell It’s dark. Some of their other songs are dark too. But that just reflects real life, which I appreciates
