It's just nothing for the Philippines! We are not anymore an ICC member and most of all this government will never cooperate with this body. ICC is only a toothless UN body with no police power that they cannot even catch the former Sudanese President Omar Albashir, who was convicted by ICC in July 2008 of genocide and crimes against humanity that he orchestrated in Darfur. The former Sudanese President is just travelling outside of his country visiting China, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Qatar and several other countries, all of which refused to arrest him and surrender him to the ICC upon arrival. He has no fear of being arrested by ICC. An ICC convicted leader can only be brought to The Hague and prosecuted if the current administration is an opposition just like what happened to Serbian President Slobodan Milošević. And how about the warrant of arrest the ICC issued to Russian President Vladimir Putin? Why the ICC afraid of investigating countries like Saudi Arabia, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. who have committed human rights and crimes against humanity?
