2 million surrendered during the first months of his campaign against drugs. High ranking cops who are involved in drug protection have been arrested. And billions amount of drugs have been seized in 5 years. Of course some were killed because they refused arrest and fired at the cops. The same way how DEA in America does their anti drug campaign operations. If any cops were found not following rules of engagement then the cops were arrested as well. That's why he is mad at America because American cops are worst in terms of abusing their authority yet they have the guts to condemn Duterte's war on drugs. When all Duterte did was to strengthen his stand against illegal drugs. He even alloted money for the rehabilitation of surrenderees and has a facility for rehabilitation. And yet they accuse him of such things just because that's how the opposition portrays him. Of course the opposition will say anything against him, they are opposition. But what evidences have they presented, and that's the question.

I first went to the Philippines in 2009. The poverty was overwhelming and meth was everywhere. The streets of Manila were very dangerous at night and the Parks and shorelines were full of homeless addicts and the pollution was disgusting. Ive been back a total of five times and the difference is amazing . I wish we had Politicians in America with his courage . As I see the Parks and Shorelines of my beautiful community get overwhelmed by meth and opiod addicts, but no one has the guts to go against the "homeless coalition " with its big money backers and political power. He's the first leader in 70 years to make positive changes for the poor and middle classes of his country .
