Thanks Melvin for more VOB! Love your enthusiasm! For live material, there are plenty of videos from their Euro tours in '21/'22 (with the standout being Trans Musicales in France Dec '21) and US tour in '23 (and many are captures of the entire show(s)). They have recently taken an unusual path in their career, declining to renew their contract with their previous management company and deciding to make a go of it as an independent (stating in a press release their desire to "return to their roots"). They currently are focusing on playing shows in Indonesia and working on a second album.

Wow! That's a bit of a shock that they've already separated from their management after only one album. But I can't wait to hear a 2nd LP and more new music from them as an independent band. I'll have to check out these live shows whilst I wait for a new record - cheers BW! 👍

passionate reaction Melvin, and yes it sounds like you really understand music and I always like knowledge based reactions because they can be informative for people like me who don't understand music and its genres except just going by the feeling of liking it from the first time I saw it and that's the only reason that makes me like VoB, you might be interested in seeing VoB's new song which is only two days old and it's really a good song with a dominant bass guitar with strong Sundanese ethnic inserts, this is a closed room performance, you can see it on the channel Pendis live at minute 45.36 minutes which is the official channel of the organizer

Hey there and thanks for your comment 😁 I've been around for 40 years, played in bands, studied music production and engineering, so I like to think I have a decent understanding of music. But there is so much great new stuff out there (like VOB) that you can never stop educating yourself. I'll definitely check out the live performance you recommended. I've struggled to find a lot of live stuff for these guys so thanks very much 🙏🤟👍
