These are amazing machines i love my raptor such a fun machine. They say if you do any mods you got to add a tuner so it doesn't lean it out

You sure do. That was one of the first mods done when i got it 3 years ago. They run pretty lean even stock.

Honest question in case you know the answer: Since these machines are fuel injected, wouldn't it sense the increased amount of air and make adjustments to the fuel without needing to be remapped? Wouldn't it be the same as going from high elevation to a lower elevation?

No these are very basic fuel injection systems the only way the ECU can adjust for air is by having a wideband oxygen sensor in the exhaust like an automobile. Atvs do not have this.

Hey, quick question so do You think the box Fci filter is no good if you just have a pipe and power commander? Or is it valid

I'm obviously not a mechanic or dyno tuning expert. But based on conversations I've had with people who are the FCI intake does produce the most power of any intake system. However it's going to be negligible until you're doing cams or bigger throttle body something that requires a significant amount of more air. And me personally I like the ability to still be able to run an air box lid for when riding in less than ideal conditions. My most recent trip it was super sloppy and muddy and I was grateful that I was able to put a lid on it.

When the bike is cold like say before you go for a ride when it's been sitting overnight on a level surface start the bike let it warm up completely to operating temperature (do not rev let it idle)shut the bike off wait about 30 seconds pull the dipstick out of the tank wipe it clean stick it in the tank do not screw it in and then pull it out the oil should be close to the top of the hashes

Hi sir I have a question , I have a 2024 raptor 700r do you know if the k&n oil filter the same part number as yours ? What is the k&n part number of yours ? For the oil change ? Thanks

Yes sir here are the oil filter numbers Oil filter kn 145 - k&n Hiflo hf145 Yamaha 4x7-13440-90

@@mr.unknowncali-life9350 cant go wrong with any of them. Oem 1 and the other 2 no difference. I personally think the hi flo and the k&n are made by the same manufacturer because they share the same part number and they're both a red filter media.

Do you oil the red part as well or just the yellow filter needs oil
