My husband and I did this to my 99 toyota tacoma blue after he had already done another tacoma in black. We also changed the nozzle and made it a smoother finish for my mirrors, bumper and fender flares and truck box. Turned out great. Looks like a new truck. I think this is the best way to paint older vehicles. Too many people scratching and dinging your vehicles in parking lots. Now it's armored up and can take a beating lol. Nice job👍

Doing mine black again tomorrow. Will be 7yrs ago to the date I did mine. Have a 89 jeep Cherokee that hit a deer a year ago and was getting some rust on the rocker and bottom door panels that needed to be fixed before it fixed me. Great job, looks great! I put the same product on my 2014 Ford Raptor. Sprayed the wheel wells, door kick panels, rocker panels, and fender flares. 5 years of off roading and no problems.

I 2nd Gen 5.2 (1998), and raptor lined mine black about 2 years ago.... It really holds up, especially when we had a hail storm earlier this year in North Texas. Not one dent after the storm and I watched the hail pummel my truck!!

I did this to my 88 Chevy Silverado. Try backing way up to 8-10’ and doing a very fine coat for the last 2-3 bottles. It looks amazing and I actually really like it

I never owned a dodge . Guy I work with wife made him get rid of 97 2500 white . Has most of the known dodge issues . Truck is a beast . Great video I was thinking about going red . You did a good job . I’ll look into the Raptor product.

Thanks, I started with the garnet red oem dodge which is more of a burgundy and when you mix it I got light red. I recommend you use their color tint so the color stays true unless you like my red. :)

As the owner of a 2015 Ram 1500 Tradesman with a Crew cab, I think you did a great job. The truck looks Great and like us, as we get older, some of us tend to look a little worn on the outside while feeling and running good on the inside. The best thing is you didn't waste your time on a ford or chevy and preserved the life of a quality truck that will keep running good while looking good and fighting the elements. GOD Bless.

You can mix any color paint you want in it as well,my father in law owned a body shop he does this all the time instead of just painting color over the top,so if you do off road and scratch it you dont have to touch anything up

Its amazing what 800 grit wet sand and a can of clear coat can do to old headlights , my 99 denali looks like i just put new head lights on it and it cost me 15 bucks also did my marker lights and tail lights , they all look amazing and wayyyyyy cheeper then ordering new

@@rushtonworks9186 looks really good. I can't say I'm a fan of the bull bar when a trucks not lifted and on stock wheels because it reminds me of an ant eater dragging its nose on the ground. But that's simply personal opinion. All in all, A+ I have a 97 2500 4x4 with the diesel and a 9ft flatbed and I plan to do the cab and front clip raptor lines in a grey color or an orange color and the bed in black. I do have a "kangaroo killer" on the front thatll get done as well. But I do appreciate guys such as yourself who DIY in a gravel driveway. Although I do have a shop, it's became a toy box and with all the stuff in there, I will be doing mine outside. Soon, maybe I'll post a video of it and see how well I can do for first time as well. Keep up the great work. Maybe soon, you can do another project video. If it comes out good, may even do my 1969 sears aluminum fishing boat inside and out.

If you ever use it again the kit comes with the roller and I use it to smooth out the runs and blotches before it dries. It saves alot of work on sanding. You will have to give it another coat still because the pattern from the roller looks different than the pattern from spraying it.

The raptor bed liner is the best system you can buy for at home. I used the 2 part can you repair a damaged section of my factory liner and it matched perfect. Actually looked better on that area. Shits awesome
