You were absolutely right about it being parked under trees. If you search the school on streetview you can see it parked under a tree. After contacting the school it spent a lot of its life parked as it’s 4.3 tonne so a lot of the teachers couldn’t drive it. It had done 9600 in 15 years before I got it.

I did actually search for it while I was doing it as I was curious and yep, there she was looking all solemn in the corner of the car park under some trees 😔 At least she's getting lots of love now, good luck with the rest of the build buddy, she'll be awesome when she's done. I have an identical van in almost the same factory blue. Mine needs a machine polish one day.... I would have liked to see you taking the plastic trim off as i have never done that. Does it just pull off? Monster van to paint and looks great now!

They're a good size van and the ex minibus ones like this all seem solid as they never got used much. The trim has screws along the sill and then pulls off, they come off pretty easy apart from the arches which are bolted on. Be careful machine polishing it as the paint isn't the best on them from what I've seen, don't go too fast or you will burn through 👍
