My favourite base is the hell maw 2 and I kinda want a slightly bigger version with multiple TCs since 27 or 31 rockets aren't enough for a small group base at least not on 2x servers or on low decay ones

I don’t know if you thought this out, but raiders could jackhammer the foundations (external tc take over roof honeycomb) and by that take down the roofs much easier so they could blow straight through walls into main core, if you understand what I’m sayin.

No need to rush t3, u can easily destroy t2 with shotgun trap, simply aim on the t2 and de auth then stand next to it. It will take about 2-3 stacks of ammo to kill the t2 - when done auth and pick up the shotgun trap

Oh my, where do i even start. Used the raptor for the first time this wipe on a vanilla and it’s a beauty. We had onlined our biggest enemy and guess what the server restarted as we raided, yup.. we knew they where going to offline raid us as they where major wuzzies, they endes up spending 49 rockets and got 1 of the 2 loot rooms wich had components and shit in it, they got neither tc nor the juicy loot room. I must say this design is amazing!! Compact and small but just enough for a 3 man and strong indeed, big ups Will try this one again with some tweaks maybe. Big love to u wurst

A good idea is to connect the garage doors to the auto turrets low ammo output and in turn make the garage doors close so grubs don’t spear your turrets out

This has been one of my favorite layouts since before the half walls. It is really good and pretty cheap and gives great protection for the number of booms it takes. The electric is a bit sketch and probably could be done differently, but otherwise the rest of the base looks pretty good, like a refined and polished version of the old layout. The roof tiles are a great way to add just that extra bit of protection for the bottom layer. Roof tiles are some times hard to use effectively, but if you can find out away, they can sometimes save you resources, which I think this designed does well.

These minor flaws won't stop me building this beauty (probably on 2x at first because solo) an upgraded sealing underneath the roofbunker and high externals should make up for it :) and the odds of someone raiding it who knows about the splash damage through roof honeycomb are probably not too high

@evil wurst can you do a updated video with the new triangle roof piece that allows you to do the same thing in this video this base is not outdated i used it on the 5x server i play on to great effect its a great base for solo/duo i prefer to opt out the heli hangar but i still put in roof acess for a secondary exit if needed also the triangle above the TC works great for a large battery and HBHF sencors work great for keeping the garadge doors closed and turrets on as soon as someone drops over the compound doors open and people get minzed i love it EDIT:teh roof seal is no longer viable ik this so upgrading the core to HQM and upper floor to sheet metal is reccomended same rocket/C4 raid cost maybe slightly less either way it works hope you can impliment the edits i made thanks

As it stands this base can currently be made on console without much trouble. As well on console you can pick up the workbenches instead of having to break them.

After building it this wipe, i found that you can use one triangle in the honeycomb space behind the lootrooms to build the tier 2 workbench, then wall it off (the wooden lootroom build helpers can be moved in the turret triangles). Also, using garage doors doesn't impact the raid cost by much and greatly improves mobility inside the core. Moreover, there is an extremely interesting video from Sir Taiga reviewing the Joker from Papa Percocet which provides useful improvements that can also be used here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWabdJWrbNx8ncU . I find that building Sir Taiga's shooting floor on top of the Raptor further increases the futuristic look of the base. Keep up the amazing work Evil Wurst, I'll keep binge-watching your content as long as you provide.

It's actually really simple but complexity contains everything that you would need but looks good but the thing is I'm looking for vanilla builds right now this one's not for that this is definitely at least a duo unless you have a lot of time on your hands or you play 5X still a great build always like seeing your videos always click on I always know they're good

This is an excellent question. Some people may prefer the aesthetics of the Raptor. Some people may prefer the open core. And, if it the roofs are not upgraded to sheet metal, to match the outer protection of the aggravator , it should end up being cheaper

Friend and I built this, verified that we could still seal the bunker and it worked, then when we logged off we couldn't seal it up like we could before even though we didn't add anything above it. Anybody know why?

Did you friend log off somewhere below or above the roof? Sleepers tend to block the placement of the roof

Only mistake here is that the vertical embrasure or whatever you spell it on TC should be from the other side so they cant splash but its wonderful base design

In my experience you never get to finish these bases. They get raided or server wipes before you can finish.
