About Designer Tetsunosuke Saiki
Tetsunosuke Saiki was born in Yokohama, Japan. After university, he moved to London, where he studied millinery and leathercraft. For the last ten years, he has been working at The Walt Disney Company Japan as a designer in the fashion department.
When Tetsu watched the Disney Tangled film for the first time, he felt, ''Ah, I know the feeling,'' being an only child who spent much time with his imagination, drawing, reading, painting, and playing with his toys. (Don’t worry - his mum is not like Mother Gothel!) Tetsu never felt uncomfortable with being alone, but often thought there must be something else.
After graduating from university and moving to London to study fashion, he found something he had been seeking for a long time. All of the new experiences came to him like a flood, like Rapunzel felt when she first left the tower. It wasn’t always easy, as many experiences were unfamiliar to him, but Tetsu, like Rapunzel, was brave enough to jump into something unknown. Tetsu believes everyone can share a moment of opening a new door to find ''A New You.'' The film Tangled and Rapunzel always reminds him that more of life's discoveries await.

I’m a Rapunzel collector, and she is my favorite princess. Even though it’s a pretty dress it doesn’t belong on Rapunzel. I don’t know her name but it looks like something the blonde in the Princess and the Frog would wear. So I passed on this doll. Why couldn’t they make a gown she would have worn if she grew up in the castle? Something from her time .

Oh yes charlotte would rock this!!! They definitely could have done something more from her time but I think the goal of this line was to make it like a modern like princesses going to the met gala (but then again this doesn’t say met gala either, not todays galas anyway 😂)

I absolutely really love this doll! Once I get paid, I’m definitely gonna get her! 🌸 I’m gonna replace the flower with an extra Rapunzel crown I have. 😉

This is my favorite so far. It came out on my birthday month. I was unsure when I first saw the stock photos. But when I got her in person, it's the best one for me. It's really pretty in person and the stock photos do no justice to this doll. The only thing I'm disappointed about the doll is the length of the hair as it should've been to her feet.

I have an unpopular opinion in that I actually love the flower. 🙈🤣 The dress on its own is giving too “House on the Prairie” and the giant headpiece (as well as the green shoes) elevates the look to a more avant-garde, high fashion level and way more to my taste.

I'm an Arianator and I love Disney especially Rapunzel and I own this doll 😂💜 and the dress doesn't match and all but I just liked the way the doll looked and the face like it just caught my eyes so I bought it

This is probably the worst in the collection. The random pastel pink, the green shoes (Rapunzel doesn’t wear shoes), the incredibly short hair, and even the embroidery on the dress feels so disconnected from her character. I genuinely have to wonder if the person who made this even watch Rapunzel’s movie or show.
