How do you secure the pipe to wood when transferring it?

For this structure, I just drilled the hole and placed the pipe in it to fit snuggly and that works only if you don’t have to move the cake far. If you have to move it anywhere or you just want it more sturdy for piece of mind, I would definitely use a floor flange like I did in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZe9dKmAl6l5h8U Most of my 3D cakes I now use the floor flange method at the bottom because it’s so much sturdier especially if you ever have to transport the cake.
