This was inevitable. Not having a strong military here in Canada was always going to bite us in the ass. We have some of the worlds best men and woman in uniform in this country, who dont have the proper tools to get the job done. It's sad what the Canadian government has done to our once Stoic Military.

ask Mr science guy what would be consequences of nuclear war ? nuclear winter ? ice age ? mass starvation ? and did they leave any room to russia for diplomatic solution (we are not isolating iran or korea we are isolating biggest nuclear power in the world ) i think working on peace is priority not just saving ukraine but saving the world . i think focusing on domestic issues are enough challenging for the government global issues is not something that we learn as we go we need to be prepared.

Don't expect it. We flooded in lower bc. Houses with water 12ft up. The police told everyone to stay out. They had 1 ssar boat to get out 1500 people. And when that one boat wasn't able to handle all the calls. Farmers, boaters broke through the police barricades. We never had an emergency alert. People now know to listen to the USA, Sumas flood sirens. People again disobeyed orders and went to sandbag a pump station before it was over run with water. Police got over run trying to stop them. We didn't loose one person only because people took matters into their own hands. Police didn't help, government didn't help. Are neighbors the blue collar workers had the common sense to handle a disaster.
