Your hair may change to the darker red color more like a scarlet red because of the color contrast with the orange.. it will be beautiful

You can always make it darker just not lighter it will cause damage

Your hair went orange due to it trying to lift your color from the dark to that blonde color. Anything with 20 volume developer or more with blonde colors especially will lift and if it doesn’t lift fully ( sometimes the processing needs longer) it gets stuck in that in between stage that left it the orange color. Permanent color does that. If you use a demi permanent color for darker colors like red, browns, black and use 10 developer it deposits so much better and less damage to hair too just for the future when you want to change again🤗
