This coach is made by Foretravel Motor Homes in Nacogdoches Texas. They have always sold very high end coaches and do so today. Prices range from $500,000 to $2,000,000. The company history is very interesting. It started as a Father and son high school project in the early 70's and someone wanted to buy the first one so they built another and it just grew until what they are today.

Just remember his primary objective is to build a KZbin channel He buys this and that project truck and seldom actually finishes them before it’s flipped. So he’s making money and building a KZbin channel at the same time Awesome RV here. Will be interesting to see how far he gets with it before it’s gone the way of so many other projects lol. Ignore the haters. It’s your vision. Run with it. I’m on RV #4 and it has been great for our family. We go all over the country in the RV. Foretravel makes a great coach. That one needs a lot of love and would be beyond what I’m willing to tackle, but seeing your others projects is right up your alley. There are enough Grand Villas sitting around that you ought to be able to find or make parts for it. Enjoy the ride.

I've always loved the sound of those engines too... hearing my dad coming home off the road in a late 70s cabover Freightliner mostly, or an International Transtar II, starting off with either a 318 or 238 Detroit until he blew it up, then putting a small cam or big call Cummins into it....ohhh the memories.

Pretty awesome seeing the foretravel. My mom and dad had 4 of them over the years. I spent a lot of time in them. They are made in nacogdoches tx. We bought our first one in 1988. Was similar to yours only we had a Cummins. Foretravel has a family like atmosphere. If you need any help the people at the plant are super friendly. Hopefully y’all have a lot of fun with it. Ok. Congratulations! This unit was a very high end coach in its day. Your leveling system is an HWH lever system. It’s bulletproof! Your awning looks like a Zip Dee. Both HWH and Zip Dee are still in business. That coach is better built than anything new under $800k. I work for an RV dealership and I’m envious of your project!

Any knowl dge with 1990 TIFFIN ALLEGRO BAY 31' V10 460 MOTOR QITH 46K MILES 👀🫢 F53 CHASSIS DUALLY, IM THE 2ND OWNER,. FROM FACTORY/DEALER-> PREVIOUS OWNER I BOUGHT FROM-> To Me! I bought it for a really good deal and get the better handoff their misfortune. Pavers were already dripping equipment and had a day set and had already put that day off 4 days so I could have the weekend to get her out of their way for Monday a. M. Paving start. So their loss was my fortunate situation. Thank the Lord it ran drove, it needs brake lines and I have new master cylinder might as well why yo upgrade lines. also power steering HP line had a slit in it. Easy fix come spring. . Oh some scumbags cut the catalytic converter when I had it parked out front dad's house. Unreal. I had it moved and brought to my grandparents in the burbs more off the main roads. Scumbags gotta watch everything these days. Also I dumbly scrapped the 3 deep cell batteries thinking they were just heavy duty reg batteries not thinking or knowing they're more like 350 each 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ but oh well Lord had a bigger idea in mind. Upgrade them bren so it's fullproof and you can automatically cross it off the worry list. 😁

That’s a nice rig! I hope you are able to find a replacement passenger rear wheel panel and are able to fix the missing chin piece. Other than that, it looks like the outside needs little more than a screw and polish. And the interior other than by the front panels under the windows is very very nice.

Dude this is coming from someone who has owned a old Class A motor home. That thing is one GIANT money pit! For all the money that you're going to have to dump into that thing you would be way better off to go buy something newer. You know the water lines will need to be replaced and that alone is a major nightmare. Then everything else LOL. GOOD LUCK! You're gonna need it...Whatever happened to that "I'm not buying anything else" "I'm done wasting money on stuff I really don't need" Yeah you can repair it at home but what cha gonna do when you're 500 miles from home and it lays down on you? Truth be known the reason for it being parked for years is ole boy got sick of dumping cash into it. Now he's passing that headache on to you with a smile lol

It's got a lot of wood damage around the front glass and side glass. That's all going to have to be pulled out and repaired before you put the glass back in. I sure hope you didn't pay to much for it. Looks like all of the compartment doors will all have to be rebuilt. I would imagine that your're going to have to pull all of the windows and re-seal them. Sure hope you have a good wood worker in your shop. I think the old man knew he had a sucker on the line and he just kept reeling you in.

As I read some of these comments you guys are complaining about the wrong thing he takes time out of his day to give us good videos. Probably the reason a lot of the projects are not finished because they require parts that are hard to get for the older trucks and he has a business he is growing also

Foretravel Grand Villa was a top of the line motorhome back in 1988! One thing to check is the rear bulkhead that holds the motor in, they were known to crack, so look it over very close! Do some Googling, a common problem with this make. They were a semi-monocoque construction made out of square steel tube, very strong, that incases the whole body! That one is going to need all the windows pulled and resealed, but the motor sounds great, and it pulled out of its grave with the brake still on!!! It for sure wants to live on!! Some TLC, a lot of love, and you got a great highway cruiser!

I had a American Hawkins motor home, it was imported into Australia in early 2000 ,it ran a v8 Detroit, Allison auto ,full air bag ,they weight 10 ton empty ,when new they were aproxx $300.000 .the front end in them is soild . It probably is on a gillig chassis, full insulation all around ,enjoy tim

Rats.dead batterys.cant get parts.side was wrecked.hasnt been on the road since 2017.weather beat.needs 5k worth of tires.most likely needs a transmission control module.. it came from copart which sell salvage vehicles and the department of motor vehicles will never let you put it on the road.. your goi g to be 60k tall in that thing before it's all said and done..

The Uni Home grand villa was a groundbreaking design, a few of those are still used regularly.Are you sure it is an 89 and not an 88 ? This thing will make any 379 looking like a beacon of gas saving....you ll be happy to get a gallon /mile on a flat road.
