It's wrong to compare these two. Amit Kumar ji has been a much senior Artist starting his career in early 70's & excelled in the 80's with N no. Of hits from Love story to 'Hum' 'Tezaab' etc, whereas Sanu ji started around the beginning of the 90's. His competition was with Udit ji, Abhijeet ji, Vinod Rathod ji & others who parlelly entered those days. Period of 90's was like a bonus to Amit Ji because he had already done his job exceedingly well in the 80's.

Don't believe me listen to any Amit kumar songs and any Kumar sanu songs carefully you will find difference.
