Rare and Historical : Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani Parallel run for half an hour in NCR

One of the rarest, the most sensational and the most epic moments of Indian Railways, when 12305 Howrah Rajdhani is made to stand in a loop and is overtaken by 12033 Kanpur Shatabdi at Khurja Junction.... After being put on the third line, moments later, 12305 HWH Rajdhani is also brutally overtaken by SDAH Rajdhani and BBS Rajdhani... In a strange turn of events, however, HWH Rajdhani again overtakes BBS Rajdhani and catches up with SDAH Rajdhani at Chola.... From Chola, HWH and SDAH Rajdhani do a parallel running for about 25 minutes during which they play the game of "cat and mouse" and overtake each other many times...... Finally,12313 SDAH Raj gets a red at DADRI outer and HWH Raj overtakes it and is put into the main track.....

On which side you are. You have to always be with train you are travelling in , or you like more . When you are travelling in one of the 2 parallel speeding trains ,winning or losing of your train does matter. You are emotionally fully with your train . Many train lovers know exactly what I mean.

Superb coverage!! However you have got some details wrong in the beginning. Let me mention those with the correction. 1. At 0:23, 1367/23 km marking is visible on the pole whereas Khurja has 1370 km marking which means 12033 overtook your train approx 3 kms before Khurja Jn. 2. At 0:43, 12313 overtook your train at Khurja, not Sikandarpur. Immediately after the overtake, the yard of Khurja Jn is visible with a freight train. Sikandarpur has no yard!! Thanks for sharing this fantastic action!!

this incident once happened with me even both the ER Rajdhanis were parallel to each other almost from Kanpur till Mughal Sarai in the year of 2012 and instead of Kanpur satabdi, in my experience it was Raipur Rajdhani

@@zindaainsan2741 because hwh rajdhani have a technical stop.....and cnb Satabdi was late..... that's why cnb Satabdi went early Otherwise rajdhani express have more priority and advantages over Satabdi..... And 2nd reason ....that was hwh rajdhani via Patna....hwh rajdhani via Gaya has more speed or average sp that via Patna. Cnb Satabdi has more 4 stops.... between Kanpur and new Delhi but hwh rajdhani is nonstop between ndls and cnb👍 If video was continued then cnb Satabdi also be overtaken by rajdhani

What I understand is it so happen when one train is running on time and other train is late or early schedule.then both the train reached near to signal they are instructed to draw closely to signal . Then platform management decided which train to be stationed depending on the availability of platform, importance,load of passengers, etc.. it has many factors.when one train is been given signal .the other train will wait at signal. In this video I assume both the train were instructed to draw to signal and signal might be far also. There is no game of cat and mouse.it is only as instructions given by nearest station.sometimes both the train drivers and stations master discus together and come to a conclusion on who’s will go first.
