I am so happy to share this footage of an Arizona ocelot with everyone. This is an extremely rare sighting, as there is currently only known to be one ocelot left in the state. Male ocelots will occasionally make their way to Arizona from Mexico through miles of rugged terrain. They are secretive and very difficult to track, being not much larger than a housecat. This is my first time ever seeing on on camera after nearly four years of running wildlife cameras. It is truly a once in a lifetime shot. Thanks for watching and I hope you all enjoy.

@one stop That is correct, construction on the border wall was halted by the new administration, so there are still places where the wildlife can move freely. As you know, the wall is a disaster for the environment here and doesn't achieve what it was set out to do anyway. Currently there is known to be one jaguar and one ocelot left in AZ, they have been here for years. But the future is looking bright as other individuals have been caught on camera here and there very close to the border. It isn't a stretch to think that some of them will make their way back into the state someday.

Fun Fact: Grizz often has grass as 80% of their diet; sure cleans out that digestive tract. We have three HUGE siblings up at the ranch at 4,000 feet and never have had a problem with predation. They're hilarious coming out onto th eirrigated hay pasture and using both front arms sweeping all that alpine hay and chomping down.

Is that a grizzly cub at 1;30?? I'm in grizz and black bear country in Canada and I KNOW a grizz when I see one. There's not mistaking the longer snout and the hump, even on this small guy. What's a grizzly doing so far south?? "Snowgrizz"??

They do when they can get it, but black bears also eat lots of different plants, grasses, bugs, fruits, etc. Pretty much anything they can find.
