Oh my goodness!! Those tortoises are amazing!! I'd have to say "Darth Maul" is my favorite. Such a beautiful hypo redfoot. I was wondering how they do in the wild though with the hypo pigmentation. Would it make them easier to spot by predators? Is that why you don't see too many in the wild and mostly in captivity? Anyway, thanks for another amazing video guys! 💝☺️

Question: why do you wear gloves when handling your animals? Also do you change gloves with each different animal?
@PrimitivePredators5 жыл бұрын
Britney Haynes We wear gloves to ensure there is no cross contamination with the animals, we do switch them out between.

"I dont know what it is, but the shell come out wonky" - that means it's got metabolic bone disease and your actual setups are negligent.
@PrimitivePredators5 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth Ebel that is not always the case. A lot of reasons can lead up to shells not being perfect MBD is in fact one of them. We work very hard to ensure proper housing, humidity, UVB, diet and supplements for each individual species. Thanks !
