Great video and crossing! Always love those old Field & Grant barriers! Also interesting to see some older gate arms left laying near the crossing as well.

Wow the barrier in the first shot bangs when is lowered and the other barrier in the 2nd shot bangs so far back when raised, anyways great barriers and 3 shots of this crossing!! 👍🏻😁

Thanks! This is quite a cool and retro crossing, and I'm glad I got to visit it whilst it still has these barriers. They're so rare but have so much character.

@@SouthEastLevelCrossings I agree! Lucky you were able to film this Crossing with these barriers which are my favourite!

Awesome crossing! Those barriers look awesome! Guessing that these used to have halogen
@SouthEastLevelCrossings3 жыл бұрын
It would've once had halogen wigwags, yes.

Very nice crossing and area! Do you think you'll go to places in the north of Wales like Porthmadog and Barmouth South level crossing?
@SouthEastLevelCrossings3 жыл бұрын
I may at some point. Not sure when though

@@SouthEastLevelCrossings The two crossings are very iconic to me as that's where my level crossing carrier started.

Certainly sounds like some WD40 wouldn't be amiss!
