I don't personally have one but I think they would be pretty cool to have. It basically having the proof that no more of that card will be made again and also the creator of what brought all of the fans of that player joy in getting the normal card in a pack.

Scott Dyson that’s a really interesting way to think about it. I like it!

I love printing plates from late 90s/ early 2000s. They are so rare and never seem to come up for the player you want. I am not a fan of the Panini printing plates, especially the ones that come in high end products. I only have 2 VC printing plates in my collection and am always on the lookout for more.

Great to see Kyle showing off his collection! My Jeff Foster PC would've never existed without Wax Museum Podcast. And I never knew those older printing plates are relatively thin.

Hey bud. Thank you for posting these videos. Especially from the 90's to early 00's. I used to collect during those times but stopped since we got flooded then. Just got back from the hobby and just bought myself another mans 30 pound collection from the same era. Trying to learn about these cards again and what they might be worth.

@@90sbballcards appreciate the response man. I hope I get to hear you talk about other players. Like what's the top cards that Jason Kidd collector's are looking for. Or Iverson, or Kemp, or Shaq. Etc. A little biased since the man's collection I bought WAS a Jason kidd pc. 😁

Don’t think printing plates get enough love. Would like to see them evolve. Perhaps add something to them when they are done to make them “pop” more.

Topps starting "framing" their plates in the 2000s and they looked really good. Upper Deck did this on occasion as well.

Anything would make them be more popular. They are pretty boring cards but I want to like them soooo bad

Ace Mcgase boy that’s hard. Personally I think I’d open it IF you are planning to grade the Lebron Melo and Wade. Hope they are well centered!

Question: These printing plates for example the stadium club Rik smits 99-00, that touched every rik smits card that year and then threw these plates in packs and not even the company has this? Or where there several plates and just remade when they needed them. Thanks!
