Amen to this.. Very well said Mama.. It's what makes her one of my top fave KZbinrs for a couple years or so now.. She is seriously one of the hardest working, most conscientious, and down to earth people on the platform. I always say Taylor, Leigh Ann, and Jessica Braun are the only 3 whose Vlogs I watch and whose opinions I actually trust.
@jenniviiv4 жыл бұрын
I have to agree with this... Most KZbinrs would say "I totally didn't realize I had the smoothing filter on OoOopsies, sorry about that!" and do nothing to remedy it. The fact that Taylor added that disclaimer and then filmed additional, FIXED check ins is what sets her apart from the others. She deserves more subs for that work ethic. Such a shame to see some very lazy creators with 2+ million :-/

It’s crazy how foundations are so different on so many different people. I love this foundation. I have normal to dry skin with issues mainly around the chin and nose. This is one of the only foundations I have tried that didn’t look like a paste applied to my blemishes. I did apply with a beauty blender and found that to give a great finish. Didn’t use anything to set except under the eyes cause I used a concealer. All concealers don’t conceal my dark circles lol. I appreciate that those who have had similar experiences related to foundation with your skin type now to stay away. Thank you

@@miriamskille4363 I have dry skin and my nose is my WORST spot too! But this foundation was a holy grail. It did not cling onto my dry patches on my nose. Also, moisturizing is key. Try it......seriously, you might be surprised. I most definitely was. I figured this would be a hard pass for me.....and then I went and purchased the entire line 😳😂 Sooooo, I’m one of those that could never fathom not powdering my entire face after foundation. After I applied this foundation (I’m 45, btw), not only was I literally stunned and shocked how beautiful and actually skin-like-but-better this looked, but so were my 3 girls. I’m not kidding, I was floored. I’ve never been able to wear foundation without powder. EVER. All the products wore beautifully 😍 Although, I will say this.....my only issue is that it transfers really easily for me.....I’m thinking this is one of those foundations that react differently with different “bases”, ie primers/moisturizers/etc. I’m gonna figure how to make the transfer stop one way or another.....it’s far too beautiful on my mature skin to not try and figure SOMETHING out!!

Original Revelin I think that’s why I struggle to find a foundation.....well, that and the fact that I must have the rarest skin tone on the planet because I can’t find a perfect match to save my soul 🙄 I’ve got a lot of red in my face, uneven tone, texture, I’m just looking for something that’s lightweight and will just kind of even everything out, no cake-face, and not settle horribly in fine lines. I’ve got 5 kids and don’t have time to be overly fussy either......like, I don’t ever wear eyeshadow, I do lash extensions and my eyeliner is tatted on sooooo, yeah, I just wanna keep it simple, lol! The blush on this collection, omg....in. love. And if I can get this foundation to “stick”, I’ll be tickled!! 🤗

I'm actually so excited to try this line, this is the first launch in YEARS that has truly excited me. I have chronic tendinitis in my hands and arthritis so I'm hyped for the packaging. The balls help open and as far as I know the packaging is plastic so the bottles won't break if you drop them cause weak hands. I joke that I have the hand strength of a toddler now but it's true.

Also really want to see you trying it as a light coverage foundation with cream face products, concealer and just some mascara and like tinted lip balm. I know that's not really your thing but I think it'd be so pretty

Love how she made the products easy to open. As someone with SLE, RA, EDS, Kiloh-Nevin, aka anterior interosseus nerve syndrome, neuropathy. fibromyalgia, and many, many other fun illnesses! I'm in my early 30's, not 80's which most would think lol. I'm not complaining - I have an amazing husband, beautiful, healthy daughter (had her before I got sick.. I got married at 22). I'm blessed to live in my dream house and have a husband who is a medical professional's He has been in school before we meet and finished last year haha.. Although I'm in chronic pain, I refuse to let it define me, and try to always remain positive - I hope anyone else who reads this and may be going through something similiar chooses to do the same 💞.. It didn't come easily, but consistent therapy keeps me on track 😊

There’s a prayer, “Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world” (500x or as many times as you can) ... its such a powerful prayer. I pray that God heals you. If you’re not religious, I apologize for this response.
@halfofmyheart31674 жыл бұрын
Chisom Okereke thank you 💖.. I am religious and I will try the prayer. You,j mention it's very powerful. Have you experienced positive change in your life or the life of a loved one. I'm not doubting three prayer, but instead could really benefit from hearing something positive. My anxiety is so high and I've been having panic attacks all day. I really want no one to ever feel bad for me because everyone is battling their own struggles. I would honestly love to meet someone who felt complete inner peace and happiness. I am blessed to have an amazing husband & daughter who are healthy, our beautiful home, loving family and so on. I am incredibly grateful. They as well, like myself, (especially in the world we are living in currently) face anxiety, depression, and other issues. My husband does not have any forms of anxiety, or depression, which fascinates me, as he is also genetically predisposed to both of these conditions. Sorry for rambling on, my husband is waiting for me to go to bed. Hope you have a great day or night 💓

On the second day you mentioned using the Tatcha primer, and saying the foundation looked more makeup-y. For me, I did not like the Tatcha primer because I felt it made my good foundations look more obvious. I like my base to sink into my skin, and for me, the Tatcha primer made the foundation sit on top of my skin. I am curious to try this foundation, but I will be using my "good" primers: Too Faced Hangover Rx and Marc Jacobs Undercover.

I had a hard time with a shade match for this even though there’s so many shades. I’m neutral based and 130N was way too light but the next N is 210N which is way too dark. The texture is definitely nothing I’ve ever felt in a foundation before. I settled on 160C but I hope she comes out with even more shades in the future 🤞🏻
@mandiwolfe66314 жыл бұрын
I am super pale and pink based. The lightest cool pink shade was 160c, so that's what I ordered. It's supposed to arrive later this week and I'm hoping it's light enough for me. I noticed there were a ton of warm yellow based shades, not enough neutral shades, and hardly any pink based shades. 48 shades is awesome, but still kinda difficult to find mine online. I heard even if you went into a Sephora store, you still can't swatch or get a sample to try out the shade. I know it's because of covid, but it really makes it even harder to find the right shade.

@@mandiwolfe6631 the 120C is actually an excellent shade made. I tried both the foundation and concealer and it looks like my skin. I did order 140C and 160C so we'll see if either of those will be better but so far, really happy with 120C
