Found your video 2nd in search for “rare beauty lip swatch” your video was very helpful. Thank you for being honest about the lipsticks, what you described makes total sense and that type of lipstick is not my jam I’m a matte revolution girl. I’m also obsessed with lip liner and I decided I’m going to pick up a few lip liners as well as a restock of the eyeliner, I’m obsessed it’s the best!

I seem to have a lot of luck with Rare Beauty products so I picked up two shades in this release - Worthy & Lively. At first I thought Lively was really not for me, but it's really grown on me and Worthy is a great every day colour for me. I agree that they are not really matte, more a pumped up satin. The thing I've liked the most about them is the pigment payoff they manage without feeling heavy on the lips, I've been topping them with gloss/balm products most often, and I wouldn't know I had a full on lipstick on as a base from the feel. The only thing I'm not really a fan of is the packaging, as the lid component feels so cheap and plastic-y to me, and I'd rather pay a bit extra for a nicer re-usable cap that felt a bit more sturdy. Liners are my top recommendation of the release too, they stand up really well to CT/LE liners that are my go-to in terms of formula. I'm not sure about the packaging choice for them either though, doesn't feel like the best option from an environment stand point and not being able to tell how much is left has me a bit. 💀 Overall I would recommend the collection if people have an interest - I'm not disappointed!

Lively and Gifted look very beautiful on you. I am tempted by Lively. Lipstick packaging reminds me of white version of chanel lipstick.

Such a great, condesed yet comprehensive review as always ❤🥰 I have mixed feelings about this release. Lipsticks - PASS. I'm drowning in my nude lippies (I nearly always go for a gloss/lip balm/shiny lipstick!), so for a new lipstock to come my way it has to be truly remarkable; packaging, formula, branding etc. 🤷‍♀️ Lipliners are on my radar, I do love a good liner, but every time I try somwthing different to my beloved CT, I'm left undewhelmed so idk 😅😬 Lots of love! These lipsticks don’t call my name at all. After wearing a mask for so long, I’m excited to wear bright pops of color and that’s why I picked up 4 bright shades from Lisa Eldridge, and you’re holding out on us Sofia, I saw you on Lisa’s e-mail blast with your bright lip, which looked amazing on you. I love the strawberry shock color, can’t stop wearing it.

Love this! Sofia, I’d be super interested if you would watch I AM MAENG, she’s Blackpink’s main makeup artist. She has a few products she uses on the kpop idols and I’m so tempted to buy. An example is the Laura Mercier Ginger Blush, and her makeup methods are very different from western artists. Maybe you’ll find it a useful video idea!

I really don’t like the perfume-y scent in this lipstick…but it does fade quickly so I don’t smell it for long. I also think the packaging is unique, but I’m also a bit afraid to put it my my purse because I think the lid could accidentally. I don’t think I’d get another. Pat McGrath is my favorite liner but looking at the longevity test…hmmm. I think I’ll pick one up! It might be nice to have one to throw in my bag that lasts but doesn’t have to be sharpened!
