RARE Cars, WEIRD Setting, ONE Goal: Apply Diamond Body Coating to the Boss' Ride!

In today's video, Levi and Dane venture into the beautiful Italian countryside of Modena! What awaits them is an impromptu application of Diamond ProTech's Diamond Body coating product at the Musee Automobile Panini. Coating a Ferrari? A Maserati? A Pagani? That would be too obvious. Instead, they show you how to apply Diamond Body on the boss man's Jeep Renegade OUTDOORS! (What a twist!)
Diamond Body is an 18 month Diamond PHPS Coating. Different from a traditional Ceramic Coating, Diamond ProTech uses a patented process in the creation of functional nanodiamonds in a coating. Levi explains how to apply a coating outdoors in WINDY conditions and how to work around them. Avi From DPT joins the fun with an explanation of who DPT is and how their processes work for diamond coating creation.

I’m old enough to remember when Chrysler and Maserati collaborated to give the US the Chrysler Lebanon. I saw briefly he has one in his collection. He has the convertible as the camera panned thru.

Nice. The application of DB is super easy. Love the hydrophobics on my personal car. I agree it is the slick to wipe off but DB36 retains the slickness as it cures.

Could you do a base layer of "Body 36" for longevity with a topper of "Body" for hydrophobics, or is this a "one or the other" type coating? And if you can layer...does the standard 1 hr to recoat apply?

Once opened and you have some product left over. If stored in a cool place as mentioned how long is the remaining left over product good for?

Can Diamond Body be layered on top of DB36 as an extra hydrophobic layer, similar to CSL+EXO?

DB36 has slickness that I would not want to cover up with DB. Both are very hydrophobic. But you can layer if you wish. If this was done it would be closer to Gyeon Syncro Evo where Mohs Evo is slick and Skin Evo takes that slickness away. Just my thoughts using the coatings.

Was this a one layer application? You did the food but step inside the door or did they give you a small ladder? FYI, I think the Jeep has a Fiat engine.

This takes 5 hours to apply. 30 minutes for the car and the rest just to open the bottle. 😂😂
