There are also some counterfeit Fatman dollar coins. If your Fatman dollar coins are in excellent condition, I can make you a good offer. I will buy them. Hey WNN. In the past, I had stated that there are so many Chinese counterfeit coins. I don't believe any grading companies that they are able to identify each coin since the counterfeiters in China are getting more sophisticated. I will not take any chance on any of them. Modern Chinese coins may be ok to take a risk since they are not hard to identify relatively. Thanks for sharing the results from the auction.

Counterfeiting is an almost overwhelming problem, especially for these types of coins. Most are fairly easy to detect, but as you said there are also some very sophisticated operations as well and these are the dangerous ones. As interest in the field expands in Asia in general, hopefully something can be done about it. But education remains the key for collectors. Know what you are buying. Anyhoo.. Thanx for Watching!

@@worldnumismaticnews I don't see any improvement will be made toward the Chinese counterfeit coins anytime soon as I have witnessed that they have been produced continuously without any official crackdown. That's the major reason why I avoid them as I am not confident on grading companies that they could have miss on detecting fake coins. Instead, I focus on pre1933 Japanese coins. They have very stunning designs with a lot less counterfeit issues. A lot lower risk.
