I am guessing that it is tourists who get "caught" trying to park in sight of an on-coming train? Surely the locals are familiar with the challenges of parking there. I can imagine students taking drivers' Ed courses and being taught the pitfalls of that location! It is entertaining though, so long as nobody gets hurt ... I am trusting that such a calamity would never be shown on a railfan video.

Big note. It was built as a dual powered locomotive. All electric for operations in NY, and would switch to diesel powered for the branch lines. It has 2 axle trucks in the front, 3 axle trucks in the rear for connecting to the 3rd rail system in NY. There were only 9 of these models ever built. It was in active service until 2007 when it suffered and electrical fire.
