Steve was and will always be a complete and total genius. Rest in peace dear angel. What a waste of such a fine and wonderful human being. Kind, modest and incredibly brilliant. Missed forever.

04:45 the shit gets real and the truly gifted genius Steven Maynard 'The Riffmaster' Clark blows the roof off the stadium. Steve really did have it all, the primary song writer, the brilliant melodies, harmonies, hooks, bends and his iconic and timeless riffing which added top his on stage genuine rock star coolness.....well Leppard's never ever been the same. His loss remains incalculable. A tragedy that cannot be quantified. Thank God we all have these videos to remind future generations just how truly brilliant Steve was and remains.

Such a wonderful description of Steve; he really was the spine and soul of the band, nothing against the other members, but Steve will ever be unreplaceable. R.I.P. Steve Clark !

Steven Maynard Clark is by far the most underrated guitar player ever! His name should always be spoken in the likes of the greatest of all time! What he did with God's of War is nothing short of a masterpiece! To this day u can see it still affects the band! Not taking anything away from Viv, but Steve, yer were always great, u were the missing link that made hysteria album! Forever in the songs, and never forgotten!

He had the potential to hit those high notes without resorting to changing the melody or prompting the audience to sing along. It's frustrating to see vocalists do this, especially when they have the talent but lack the confidence or proper training. I suspect he had no formal training whatsoever and was relying solely on his natural abilities and bravado, causing him to strain his voice in the wrong places and go off-key. With the help of a vocal coach, he could have fine-tuned his technique and nailed those challenging notes just like he did on the album. I mean, it's clear that he had the potential to do so. He just needed some guidance to bring out the best in his vocals.

I seen the pyromania and the hysteria shows, have done some touring, and nursed my vocal chords and had to get thru some shows that I didn't think I would be able to, but the shows I seen, Elliot seemed to have plenty of range and reserve . Seen Lou Graham " croak" thru a show, and skid row when the guy (? I'm getting old), was disappointing. Fronting a rock band is a lot harder than most would imagine.
