God Bless the Riff Master on the 21st year since his passing. I still remember exactly where I was when I heard on the radio that he had died, it was as traumatic as hearing the space shuttle blew up or Reagan getting shot, something you never forget. I was lucky enough to see the Leps 9 times on this tour, 3 front row, and I got to meet Steve and shake his hand. He was the reason I picked up the guitar, and as Tommy Skeoch put it so well, Steve was the entire package, a true Rock God. RIP SMC!!

An EXCELLENT montage of the various guitars 'The Riffmaster' used....some very rare footage on display here and many hours taken to put the clip together so THANK YOU so much. Not ALL of 'The Riffmasters' wide range of guitars, around 70 in total and many Strats/Teles used for recording as Steve said he loved the sound in the studio are on display here but it is the most comprehensive set of examples I have ever seen and the cherry on top is the montage set to the timeless iconic 'Gods Of War' that when I first heard this just blew me away and I will never forget that day, and today and tomorrow I still have the same shiver up my spine...this man was a fucking genuine...genuine genius who had it all...he had the stage charisma of a rock god, the song writing abilities that propelled Leppard into the musical stratosphere...has allowed Leppard to still tour off Steve's amazing legacy with the back catalogue Leppard still use [and now as of 2018 have legally/contractually agreed to stream]...and as Phil noted in his book of Steve's ability to create what were critical to him as a song writer melodies, harmonies, riffs, bends, hooks and create a "Japanese garden" of musical wonderment...we are soon approaching in the next few weeks the memory of this genius' passing, clips such as this help educate the following generations, for what Steve left was a legacy that cannot be pout into words...I STRONGLY implore all to look at 'Steve Clark Guitar' Facebook and Twitter as you will find a fucking treasuretrove of information on this genius, and is so very well maintained weekly with some amazing background information on Steve, his equipment, his views, interviews, and pictures etc..#TR
