@@eliiiii8283 I’m aware, but it still had reverb and some vocal editing. This is just pure with everything cut down to the basic tonalities. It was a very sad, nostalgic moment. That hopeless sense of longing for something you know will never come back, and it's bittersweet. It's the same feeling I get when I was a kid, getting on that bus and going home from my very last summer camp trip. The same feeling I got when I graduated elementary, middle, and high school. But when I listen to this song it’s like I’m in my own bubble and everything goes away. I find myself humming to it when there’s no one around. I can’t wait to get a guitar and teach myself this song on it. Deftones make my life better, they’re one of the only good things that keep me going. Update: life is still very very weird and has its ups and downs. The downs are very down and the ups are barely there. But I ordered my guitar today. I’m sure it will all get better from here. I first saw Deftones in concert when I was 8 years old back in 2000, I remember my dad picking me up so I could see the stage. I saw them live 4 times total and I have to say they are one of the greatest, most consistent bands I have ever seen.

I feel you man. Between 2013-15 I felt trapped in my hometown. This song was always my guiding light for hope. It still is. Things will get better but you have to make it happen. Hold onto that feeling. That burning desire to reach your potential. To leave in search of a better you. You’ll find your way out. Trust in yourself and your ability to grow through adversity.

wow I can't believe this footage even exists. I believe what this is is an out take cut of the original video from 1997 that they just never used. more than likely because of what he is wearing because its completely different from his skater pants and long sleeve black shirt. Either way whoever put this together did it very well and it brings such a joyous mood to such a tragic time for these guys. Rest well Chi for your dreams will forever be of the heavenly skies.

The first time I discovered this acoustic version hit me very fucking hard. I was living some experiences that made me grow like a person, but not very pleasant experiences. Be quiet and drive hit me so hard that for a time I was afraid of the song. Fuck the Deftones The only band that matters in this world.

This version gives me goosebumps AND chills up my spine, good vibes! The Deftones aren't human, they are ANGELS! They need to be inducted into the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame RIGHT NOW! Because, in this lifetime, we'll never have another band like the Deftones ever again... CHERISH THE DEFTONES TODAY AND FOREVERMORE! 🤘💝🤘

I met the love of my life when I was 12 years old. Love at first sight. Ive been trying to get her for 12 years and I’ve been close a few times. Now in our mid 20s and after both getting out of long relationships, we started talking again and I flew across the country to see her. The most amazing weekend of my life and the closest we’ve ever been. It didn’t work out after I got back home and I don’t know how I’m gonna get her back. This song makes me think of her driving me back to the airport early in the morning and the last hour I spent with her I wished would never end.

The acoustic version gives me an unexplainable feeling. I don’t feel sad yet I don’t feel happy… I feel somewhat empty. This Version sounds like a breakup song but also a song I would play when I want to cuddle with someone. I’m left speechless about it. It has an eerie feel to it but it also sounds comforting. It’s so mesmerizing and hypnotic

This was from the Little Nicky session. This has been altered and mixed. The real live version Adam Sandler was right next to them when they played this for a TV or radio audience. Can't remember but I think it was a TV audience. I have the full version where Adam introduces them and they chat before Playing this. Adam even sings in this. During the part where Chino is singing, “Away... Away...” Adam Sandler is singing “I don't care where just far... I don't care where just far...”. It's so Unique and different. I'm sure you can find the full version I'm speaking of. Search something like ... “Deftones - Be quiet & Drive Acoustic - Little Nicky” and I bet you will find it.
