Oh crap! I own 3 of those games! I'll be rich in the following years! Starfox 64 3D was a Christmas gift. It was from Walmart for 30 bucks. Ocarina of Time 3D was 40 bucks at GameStop I pre-ordered Kid Icarus: Uprising for 40 bucks at GameStop too. But I'll never sell them. They're a gem for me.
@mlgreisennep24919 жыл бұрын
Ninten dude789 I got the box for Kid Icarus: Uprising for $40 at Best buy. I can't see myself ever selling it, especially after spending 7-12 hours in a chair to beat the game in one sitting. Overall, it's one of my favorite game on the system so far and I'm trying to 100% it. I found a complete box of OOT3D in a video game exchange shop for about $20 in Oklahoma, I didn't realize that it was becoming uncommon.

Great video! I own every game you showed/talked about just in the natural course of collecting for the 3DS (I'm up to about 130 games!), but most of which I never bothered to see if they're rare or expensive. Nintendo just announced that they will be closing the WiiU and 3DS eShop by the end of March of 2023 and final purchases will only be available until May 23, 2022 (using credit card) and August 23 2022 (using Nintendo eShop cards). Sad to say, all 3DS games might start to hike up in price once the eShop closes so hold on to those 3DS games for as long as you can and to those who want to still collect physical 3DS games, now would be the perfect time to start purchasing them.

I have no idea how many people have told you this. But cubic ninja is being used to hack or trigger a exploit in the Nintendo 3ds. that's why it's been selling for so much more than $15 I own the game myself and its so so. Not after beating the game I traded to gamestop. Considering I rarely trade games I guess that's saying something. But the true price of the increasing is because people use it to hack their systems and play backups

It is officially the most valuable 3DS game that's not a special edition.

I certainly own StarFox 64 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising and Ocarina of Time 3D boxed. Rhythm Thief... I'm so glad you mentioned that. It's such an underrated little gem on the 3DS. I remember seeing the trailers on the eShop back in 2012 and I really wanted to play the game. It seemed to have an interesting premise. It wasn't until recently that I managed to get a hold of a copy, but the reason I didn't before is because I already had plans to get more of the "bigger" 3DS games, so I stalled in getting Rhythm Thief. If anyone's considering it after seeing this video, I can't recommend it enough. It has a compelling storyline, and interesting mini-games. Though, you might find yourself walking around the map half of the time and that's when I think it falls flat in that regard. Oh and isn't Kingdom Hearts 3D rare now? It wasn't in the PS3 remastered versions, and I've seen copies online for about 30-40 pounds. I own a copy. I always wanted Cubic Ninja too, despite the reviews-- I at least wanted to try out the game but oh god, then all the exploits surfaced, and despite Nintendo patching it, the price isn't going down at all. I guess it's because people are not planning on updating their system, so that they can hack it.

Awesome. I have OoT, Starfox 64, and Kid Icarus Uprising. Also have the box and the stand and the cards for Kid Icarus Uprising. I also have the limited edition of Majora's Mask 3D. :) Wonder if Bayonetta 2 will become one of those games that goes out of print?

Do you think One Piece: Romance Dawn will become expensive? Just because it was a limited purchase and it had an obscure run. I bought the game because I love One Piece, but I still have it sealed, and I don't know whether to keep it sealed or not.

Nice list Pete! I own most of the games listed. I would add that you forgot 2 games that are quite rare and uncommon to find in stores and have still maintained their value. Tales of the Abyss SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked There are also rumors that if Nintendo doesn't reprint Bravely Default in a few years it might become rare and hard to find.

For those in the UK, Rhythm Thief has dramatically dropped in price to around £5-10. Also, you can currently get Kid Icarus on shopto for under £20. Jump on that!

I have a 2DS and I just recently picked up Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. Gamestop have said its getting hard to find because it leads up to Kingdom Hearts 3. I wanted to play it because you also play as Riku. Probably my favorite game on 3DS so far.

The World Ends With You is going up in demand/price. Can hardly find it anywhere locally.

Great video Pete! by the way I have an odd question. I just recently bought a crystal blue 2ds bundle with six games (LoZ Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask/Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton/Lego Batman 3/Resident Evil Revelations/Spirit Camera the Cursed Memoir) all in complete and great condition, including the console itself. Though through a bit research im wondering if I really got a good deal out of this? I personally think I did but looking up the average price for the games Im not so sure...not that it really matters but just curious! :P

Speaking of exspensive Nintendo games, even though this is kind of off topic, Conker's Bad Fur Day can't be had for less then $80 around where I live. IF you can find it.

I bet you would get more views if you had the video game cut scenes. Cool overall - I'm a new fan!

different world to over here in the UK. A lot of these (starfox, rhythm thief, kid icarus) can be bought new online for less than £20 (I actually got the former two in a bundle with Tekken for £12 from Amazon back at Christmas.) A title I've noticed has maintained it's value is Fire Emblem: Awakening, and I have no doubt that much like the gamecube and wii titles this one will go up in price. Another two I've noticed are both the One Piece Unlimited Cruise games, both part 1 and part 2. Each of them go for around £40 with the Special box version of 1 going for a bit more.

I learned what a lenticular surface was in this video. I had come across them for my entire life and never knew what to call it

Further to that, Star Fox 64 3D is now in Selects so finding the original cover version is getting quite hard. I just paid $50 for my factory sealed copy just a few days ago. Was the last one I could find.
