RARE final approach "circle to land runway 13" at LaGuardia

This is a VERY RARE occasion at KLGA where planes land and take off on runway 13. The wind kept changing directions and the ATC changed approach and departing runways at least 4 times within a few hours. I believe the approach procedure was ILS runway 22, circle to land runway 13. The pilots had to set up an ILS approach to 22 first and then make a circle final descend onto runway 13. Some pretty steep left and right banks!

You can actually see this approach commonly done on weekends. They shut down one runway for routine maintenance then if the winds are blowing in the right direction and they shut down 4 and 22 you will see this approach ILS 22 to 13 visual. I saw an American Airlines 767 do this 3 years ago. AWESOME!

Also, runway 13 is on the opposite side of runway 31. Runway 04 is the one with land behind it and the runway on the opposite side of it is 22.

This is the Expressway Visual Approach for LGA using Runway 31. They line up with runway 04 then take a right then a sharp Kai Tak style approach for runway 31. I've been on this approach on N966AT from PBI as DAL2358. I love it very much.

Lucas Huezo I remember the exact location I filmed at, this was runway 13 not 31. They lined up for 22 but then turned to fly over rikers island and Astoria for the final, very rare approach that I never saw again
